Rooted Heart Farm is a sweet little oasis about 30min west of Portland. With beautiful gardens, beautiful & talented people this little community has so much to offer. The biodiverse farm specializes in creating herbal wellness products from the highest quality farmed & foraged plants. The property itself, holds space for workshops, classes & events. Be sure to check out the monthly schedule of happenings. Yoga, movement, dance, therapeutic touch, energy healing, meditation, sound healing, child care and herbal wisdom walks can be scheduled upon request at an additional cost. "Rooted heart farm is a cute little hub full of beautiful, people, pets & plants. The off grid yurt is positioned privately in the back corner of the property. A short walk in- past the blueberries, the green house, the prayer garden through a beautiful grassy area and past a little pond. We have a wagon to assist getting luggage & supplies back. The Yurt has 2 fully prepared queen beds, a desk, armoire, cozy futon, table with 4 seats & mini kitchenette with a 2 top stove for cooking, the oven does not work right now. The wood burning stove provides ample heat & a nice vibe. Some pots & pans are provided along with dishes & cutlery. Outside is a picnic table, fire pit with an array of options for cooking on it. The cute composting toilet is a short walk away. There is an apothecafe located on the property that will have Wifi, herbal products for sale as well as breakfast, lunch, teas, & fancy coffee drinks available for purchase. The hosts of the property are excited to share an array of offerings at an extra cost. Home cooked meals, smoothies or juices. Therapeutic touch, energy healing, face or body painting, yoga, sound healing, medicinal plant walks, kid care, cacao ceremonies and more. Be sure to check out the monthly schedule to see what events may be happening. 8 pieces of wood come with your booking then anything additionally used is $1 per piece. Indoor & out door. Rooted Heart is located about 25 min West of Portland. Amazing restaurants, frequent music & events. With a 5 min drive up the road is access to the river, as well as many walking trails through the woods & a grocery store.

Relaxing winter trip.

I absolutely loved my stay at the yurt. The staff was so incredibly helpful and kind the whole time. They were accommodating and really wonderful. The yurt was spacious with amply access to wood. The outhouse was so cute (I know weird thing to say about an outhouse). It was just a great trip. I cooked on the wood stove a pork stew and some tea. I would stay again, definitely. I’ll be posting a video to my YouTube Channel The_Traveling_Teacher.

We loved our trip to the yurt! Out host was friendly and helpful and the yurt is amazing! Loved the wood stove which kept us cozy and warm the whole time. Highly recommend a stay!

Delightful

The yurt at Rooted Heart is an absolutely beautiful, brilliant destination!! After a peaceful walk through the gardens you come to the secluded shelter, clearly built with a great deal of love and intention. The interior offered everything we needed for the stay, and I really appreciate how they didn't over-cram the interior of the space, which is somwthing I've experienced at other yurt rentals. The Rooted Heart yurt, however, had a perfectly simple balance of aesthetically pleasing functionality and enough space to move around!! Delightful. I especially liked the big stone hearth, and the cute woodstove which kept the cold at bay. Plus, that privy design is second to none! The craftsfolk who put this thing together are obviously gifted artists! What a joy to experience. I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much, Rooted Heart fam!! <3

Magikal yurt

It is a beautiful, open place to stay, the wood stove kept us warm and cozy. It was great to lie on the rug in front of the wood stove. The outhouse was clean and tidy. The yard was amazing the stars at night were so magikal. Had a fire outside which really was so amazing. Cooked on the outside fire pit, cooking tools were provided and made things easy. Loved staying here.

The yurt at Rooted Heart Farm is a truly special place. My friend and I spent a night retreating here and felt deeply nourished by all the thoughtful details that went into creating this space -- from the extraordinarily comfortable bed/bedding, the well-stocked kitchen, the candles and variety of lighting options, the fire pit and outdoor sink, and the unique outhouse. The yurt itself has a cozy warmth to it while feeling spacious enough to spread out. It felt like such a private oasis despite being adjacent to a busy road.. it really provides some perspective on what is possible in finding calm and sanctuary amidst the noise of life. Our host Ashera was such a delight to connect with, providing us with the perfect balance of space and hospitality. Everyone else we met at the farm was warm and welcoming as well. Can't wait to return!

Cozy farm stay

The yurt vibes at Rooted Heart Farm were very enjoyable! We appreciated the coziness inside and surrounding greenery outside. The place was very private and it felt like we had it to ourselves. Thanks for the relaxing stay!
