Great for kids!
20 ft travel trailer · With kids
This was our second time staying here (we stayed Fri-Mon), but this time we brought our 3 kids! It is perfect for a tranquil place to relax / have space from other tightly packed campsites, and it also allowed our kids freedom to explore the woods, ride bikes and other fun outdoorsy things- we played many games, had bonfires, cooked outside, painted rocks, and scootered around the neighborhood. (They loved finding the Sasquatch!) I imagine we will come here every time we come to Deep Creek, and look forward to trying it out in the winter as well. John and Ginny are wonderful to work with, always extremely available to provide any help or insight. The neighbors are very friendly as well! 10/10 again.

Great spot! John and Ginny were wonderful hosts. The site is exactly as described. Tucked back in a quiet neighborhood with a quick drive to wisp and the lake.

Very nice site, had everything you could want, very beautiful and secluded. Will stay again if we have more time, sadly we were only in the area one night.

Best HipCamp @ Wisp
18 ft campervan
Absolutely loved staying here!! Our hosts were absolutely amazing. They just happened to be there when we were. Had great conversation and enjoyed our time we had with them. Great people. Hosts don’t stay there full time as it’s a vacation home. Close to everything at Wisp yet private and has everything that you need. Highly recommend

Arrived late and left early but loved camping at this site before a day of skiing at Wisp. Seamless arrival, nice flat campsite, and very responsive hosts. Thank you!

Quiet, clean, lots of wildlife
25 ft travel trailer · With pets
A wonderful, private, impeccably clean, quiet place to stay. Wooded area with paths to explore and many deer to observe. 20, 30 & 50 amp service. Easy to get in. Definitely a skills-challenge to get out with our 25’ trailer and 21’ truck but not a problem. Well worth the effort. We will return when we’re in the area
