This campsite is tucked away on the back side of our apiary and hobby farm. A hidden treasure if you are looking for seclusion, peace and tranquility. Enjoy sitting pond side after a busy day of traveling or take a walk through our farm fields and our wooded paths. We are 25+ minutes to St. Martins, 30+ minutes to Fundy National Park, 35 minutes to Saint John and 1 hr drive to both Fredericton and Moncton.
Keep in mind, we are a beekeeping operation and although there are no hives in the near vicinity you may want to refrain from staying with us if you have an allergy to bees.
I thoroughly enjoyed my tent camping experience on this Norton, New Brunswick farmland. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and very hospitable. I arrived and called the host, and they were instantly available to show me to the campsite. They started me a fire and gave me an incredibly warm welcoming to the maritimes. I was able to enjoy sitting by the campfire that overlooks a gorgeous pond. The views from the top of the campsite overlooked a plethora of beautiful autumn trees. It is located in a perfect area for visiting the nearby Sussex bluffs after your stay!
Kate land worked out perfectly for our trip. It was a large grassy area (relatively level) and tons of room.
She was super easy to work with and responded quickly to our request.
What an awesome stay, quiet and peaceful as advertised. We got the Bee sampler and the girlfriend was ecstatic with our little goodies bag.
Host met us at entrance to property and was super friendly. She provided a fire pit and chairs.
Also had farm fresh eggs available and lumber for firewood.
Thanks Kate for the amazing location!
We had a wonderful time on Kate’s property. The land is so beautiful and we were greeted so kindly by Kate and her son. The spot is set up super well, and the grass was mowed which was a huge help. The spot is very private and the view of the pond is gorgeous. Don’t be scared of the bees, the campsite is very far from them and they wont bother you! Thanks so much to Kate and your family for sharing your space.
We found this wonderful spot at the last minute and are so happy that we did. The spot is beautiful, the hosts are wonderful to work with and it was such a treat to have a quiet, private place to spend the night. Highly recommend!
