On Cedar Pond offers a generally positive camping experience with beautiful scenery and a variety of activities. The atmosphere is praised for being peaceful and private, with a well-maintained campsite featuring a pond and even a friendly donkey. Most reviews highlight the friendly and accommodating hosts who contribute to a pleasant stay. However, there was one negative review concerning restrictions on night fishing imposed by the host, which might be important for those planning to fish after dark.

We had a great time staying at Donkey Corner @ Cedar Pond. The family was super welcoming, some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. Firewood, electric and clean facilities were all excellent. My son loved swimming in the pond, taking the paddle boat for a spin, splashing on the water slide and cooking smores over the fire. We used this site twice on our way to/from Mammoth Caves in KY. It was a perfect pit-stop, though my boy is already asking if we can get a donkey and some ducks, lol!

Well the site was awesome. Has great fishing. But the male figure wasn't pleasant. I've camped here before. The host came out at 2250 and demanded us off the lake. Said he didn't want anyone anyone on the water after dark. In the posting it says quiet time starts at midnight. Ok we then started bank fishing. Again the host came out. But this time he said this isn't a fish camp. Well ok we understand catch and release which we upheld. And told us to get off the lake. This lake was ment for young kids to catch their first bass. Shame it was a beautiful spot to fish. But the host destroyed any reason to come back He left the next day saying we were in charge... Nope I'm not. It was a bad situation all around.

It is as advertised. The hosts are friendly and leave you alone. The campground is clean and well kept. The towns nearby have decent places to eat and everything one would need. Bike trails nearby are nice.
