Michelle was so kind! We came in very late and they made sure we felt comfortable. We set up quickly and they even offered help when our blankets turned out to be wet from rain. Our toddler enjoyed a horse ride in the morning and was introduced to all the beautiful animals. I am very thankful for the experience!
It' these experiences that make me thankful for apps like hip camp!
what a wonderful weekend! Great location on farm, great hosts and amazing price!
The kids got to hang out at the farm all day (horses, pigs, goats, ...), wake up next to horses, go on trails, close by park, get free horseback rides.. It was an absolute blast!
The hosts Michelle and Nick were incredibly nice and helpful. I would 100% come back again and recommend families to go there.
We loved to see All the farm animals!
We loved waking up to the horses right beside us.
Unfortunately we chose the hottest weekend to go camping so we didn’t do very much. But the property allowed us to just sit back and watch the animals.
Hosts were great people, friendly and polite.
We enjoyed our experience at Michelle’s place. It was like camping in the middle of a farm petting zoo! The animals are all very friendly. Waking up every morning surrounded by calm and beautiful horses was specially delightful. We used Michelle’s kayak to go kayaking on South Nation River in Casselman one morning, It was lovely.
Michelle was very kind and thoughtful during our one night stay. She even put up a few tents for my group!! Her farm is so cute and her animals are all so friendly. I would strongly recommend Michelle’s campsite if you’re looking for somewhere to stay near Ottawa!!
Thank you for being so welcoming and helpful Michelle!!
