14 acre park like setting with open and treed campsites. We have 5 small cottages on the property, outdoor saltwater pool, a paddle boat pond, walking trail and access to the shoreline. Our water is located at the mouth of the Cardigan River so you get warm water on a falling tide and salty cool water on the rise. Come join us!
Summer Winds, managed by the amiable duo of David and Cora, offers a peaceful retreat with meticulously maintained grounds and facilities. Campers consistently praise the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the short stroll to a private beach, making it a standout choice. While some mention the campsites being close, the overall atmosphere remains quiet and friendly. If you're seeking a serene camping experience with caring hosts and beautiful surroundings, Summer Winds could be your perfect stop.
Very friendly persons with helping hands.
The sanitary bock was very clean and it was a nice view, at the front of the lake.
I would come back again during my next family vacation.
We looked for a quiet and clean campground. Yes, indeed, we found one at David and Cora's ground. Our space was lange enough for the sanitary installations are super nicht extra clean. Dave is very friendly and he is helping where ever he can. The short walkway to the sea is a nice add on. Next time again we had a great time and extend our stay for an other night.
Cora and Dave are super hosts! You can tell their campground and customer satisfaction are their top priority. The grounds are neat and manicured. The bathrooms are spotless and the showers are great with lots of hot water. This is a must stay if you are in the area.
We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! The bathrooms were clean, campsite had enough space, not terribly far from Charlottetown and the costumer service was excellent! I’d recommend Summer Winds to anyone visiting the island.
This was a great site with access to the river and hot showers. I only wish is could have stayed longer!
