Gorgeous VERY secluded area
Tent · With pets
A forest fire kicked us out of Robin’s land but the property was gorgeous. It’s deep out in the woods in full seclusion. It’s right on the bank of a huge river and the sound of it makes the experience so serene. We will be back after the forest fire loosens up :)

Very good experience — so much room for 2 and a dog! Really nice private part of the river with the ability to take plenty of walks up and down the rocks. You’ll want to make sure you consolidate your stuff before you head to the site so as to not be walking the .2 back and forth from your car. Robin was a helpful host!

Great stay. Would recommend.
Group trip
Robin met us in Darrington to show us to the site. He was very welcoming and nice. The beach was large, right on the river, and beautiful. Would happily stay here again. Oh. And the stars on a clear night were stunning.

Loved Robin's place! We had about a whole river bank to select our spot from and it was completely private, with beautiful views of snow capped peaks and the rushing river. Be ready for about a .25 mile walk from where you park to carry your things.

Amazing

Immaculate campsite on a beautiful river. Robin was wonderful and so graciously met us in a nearby town to take us to the spot. Felt very private and safe :)

Beautiful River
Group trip
First off, let me start by saying the land and sites are breathtaking. Being right on the river was more than I could have imagined and wish I could have stayed longer! That said, there were some things that I feel the listing should be more transparent about. Such as, there is a decent hike down to the sites so PACK LIGHT! There were parts of the trail that weren't very well kept so it was tough to squeeze through with all the gear at times. Also, a couple people from our group fell in the water while trying to cross the log bridge so bring an extra change of clothes :P. We had also hoped the site was going to be to ourselves and would have the ability to utilize the cook shack but there were 3 other parties staying on the sites and the cook shack was directly in one of those camps. All the parties were really nice and welcoming but just unexpected. Would still absolutely stay here again but now have a better idea of what to anticipate.
