Learn more about this land: Secluded camp site, next to a salmon spawning creek in the forest. Picnic table seats 4 adult people comfortably. Short walk on a trail from parking. Portable toilet is now on a trailer and at the camp site. Nearby trail head for hiking and mountain biking in the greater forest. Check the calendar: If the site is vacant the night before your stay, you can check in early on that day. If the site is vacant the next night of your check out day, stay as long as you like. Let me know when you would like to check in, so that I can be there to meet you. Any combination of adults and children that can sit comfortably at a 6-foot picnic table is not a problem. Host does not receive text messages, only a land line with an answering machine, (old school). If you need to communicate, use the 425 # and please leave a message. Host goes to Safeway in town, daily, in the morning to check e-mail and Hipcamp messages and reply to Guests. Several guests have gotten lost relying on GPS only to find the property. Most do not have an issue. I suggest that you check with Google Map or another map service to know approximately where you are going. Plan on packing out your garbage and recycle trash, we have had a problem with bears raiding the trash cans. June 2022 just installed a park style grill. Bring your charcoal briquettes, grilling tools and steaks. Firewood is available at Safeway for about $8.00 a bundle. Host provides firewood for $10.00 a large tub, firewood is located at the camp site, pay cash at the camp site. Portable toilet. Toilet is now on a trailer and located next to the camp site. Every two weeks it has to be moved to the top of the hill for service by Honey Bucket. Monday evening thru Tuesday, after service.

Pets allowed

Off leash. Host has two horses pastured on the opposite end of the property. There is an abundance of wildlife on and around the property. If the guest can promise to collect pet waste and keep pets under positive control, voice or leash, and keep pets from barking and disturbing wildlife, and chasing horses, then there is no problem having pets.

Potable water available

Spigot, hose. There is a water hydrant along the driveway, on your right side as you drive in. Use the white RV potable water hose to fill your containers.

Cooking equipment present

Grill over firepit, bbq. Park style grill installed. Bring your charcoal and grilling tools.

True gem - perfectly situated with stunning views of the river, spacious and well-maintained site, and incredibly clean Honey bucket. Andrew goes above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing camping experience. Loved the quiet atmosphere and the opportunity to relax by the campfire at night.

Great secluded camping site

Had a wonderfull time at Andrew's place. Secluded but with tent camping amenities like fire pit grill, charcoal grill and a very clean porta potty. The river sound was very relaxing at night. The site was clean and very easy to set up. There's a pathway down the river to a picnic table, or second camping location. Big tubs of wood are available. We saw deer and eagles, besides birds. There are salmon and trout in the river. The site is about 100 feet away from the parking location. There are 2 garden carts available, but be aware that the site is down hill. Andrew was very helpful and friendly, and let us feed the the horses and gave us camping advice. Would highly recommend, and will probably use again.

Beautiful, spacious, private site

Love this camping spot! Andrew was very friendly and helpful. He provided a large bucket of wood for $10 which was awesome. It was probably about 2 regular bundles worth of wood and he had a lot more. Trail down to campsite was easy with the provided massive wagon. Be careful not to bring too much to campsite because going back up is obviously tougher. We really overdid it with 2 tents, 2 large camping storage bins, full cooler, 2 bags of clothes, 2 bags of groceries, huge water canister and probably more than that. If you just don’t go overboard like we did it’s no biggie. Creek and rock wall next to campsite are beautiful and very private. Also provided a very large food storage bin. Spacious campsite, picnic table, two benches next to fire pit, BBQ grill and grate that rotates over the fire pit.

We had a fabulous time! This site is beautiful, has every amenity necessary for a super comfortable trip, and Andy is awesome! Our kids had a blast and it was nice that the site allowed them some independence and we knew they were perfectly safe! Enjoy!
