Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Lac-Témiscouata National Park adventure.
Enjoy the waterways and nature that have been attracting people to Lac-Témiscouata for 10,000 years.
Although just designated a Sépaq National Park in 2009, the history of Lac-Témiscouata reaches back far longer. Indigenous Peoples have been present in the area for more than 10,000 years, and some of that history is on display at over 30 archeological sites and in the Discovery Centre within the park. Three campgrounds—all with water access—serve as home base for hiking, biking, and historical exploration in this family-friendly park.
Camping is only available mid-May until mid-October at Lac-Témiscouata National Park. The weather in southern Quebec is warmest in July and August, which is also when the park is busiest. Spring and fall are quieter, but have the risk of inclement weather.
