Epic coastline, medieval castles, and Wales' highest peak tempt motorhome roadtrippers north.
From the storied peaks of Snowdonia National Park through the rolling hills of the Carneddau mountains to the sandy beaches of the Conwy coast, North Wales is home to some of the country’s most spectacular natural landscapes. If you’re bringing your motorhome or caravan, you’ll be in for a treat, as Wales’ northern corner is brimming with winding roads and sweeping views. Set out on an epic road trip along the 75-mile North Wales Way, stopping to hike and camp along the north coast before curling around Anglesey Island, then heading south to the Blue Flag beaches of the Llŷn Peninsula Area of Natural Beauty. There are plenty of spots to camp along the way, whether you fancy parking your motorhome right by the seafront or on a tranquil patch of farmland. Many remote Hipcamps offer grass sites with basic facilities, while motorhome and caravan parks typically provide hardstanding with full hookups.
