The Hideout was perfect for my family of 4 this weekend! Janna is lovely and communicated really well. The site has so many great amenities, including many places to build a fire, a pool table, horseshoes, a place to grill, an outdoor shower, and more. The beds in the tent were super comfortable with plenty of blankets. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Joshua Tree.

Remote and cute place to stay! Host was awesome. Highly recommend this location if you’re in the area. JTNP gate entrance is like 20 min away.

Another perfect getaway to the Hideout.
As always Jan makes me feel like family.
The trailer is neat and tidy and adorable.
The grounds are fun and upbeat and there is something interesting and eclectic to catch your eye at all the sites The sunsets were beautiful from the overlook deck.
Jan is a perfect host. Available for whatever you could need.
I can't wait to return.

Janna’s place was great! The tent had everything we needed and the location was just a hop skip and a jump away from the Joshua Tree main gate. We had fun playing pool and eating our meals in the kitchen prep area. It was a bit chilly in the desert in December, but there were plenty of blankets in the tent to keep warm. I would recommend staying here if you get the chance!
