Wild Earth is exceptional for the range of on-site aromatherapy treatments it offers, along with workshops such as axe-throwing, tracking, and natural navigation. The site’s partnership with Wyld Lore (07758928727) means that guests can pre-book a therapy treatment that will be provided to them in their bell tent, with qualified aromatherapist Ella Staff. She also offers a range of aromatherapy balm and perfume-making workshops, and even the kids can join in on the latter for a day of creativity.
Outside of the site, Wild Earth is located in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with Branscombe village part of the Jurassic Coastline. As such, there are plenty of scenic views to admire and plenty of beaches to explore. Weston Beach is only a mile away, with this secret spot only accessible by a walk and, with its steep steps and rocky terrain, visitors will feel a sense of accomplishment when they’re relaxing on its pebbled beach looking out to the ocean. Sidmouth Beach is a little over five miles away from the site and more of a tourist spot than Weston, with its sand and shingle beach backed by the seaside town of the same name, where visitors can also find a variety of unique shops and eateries. It’s an ideal spot for a day out — take a trip to the immaculately presented Connaught Gardens (01395 517528), or keep walking down the seafront until you reach the picturesque Chit Rocks. Venture a little further out to Seaton, a 15-minute drive from the site, and you’ll be able to look out across Lyme Bay from its coast, where dolphins are spotted during periods of warm weather. A little further still is the town of Lyme Regis is a 20-minute drive from the site, where visitors can admire its harbour and the world-famous wall protecting it, named The Cobb.
