A Home from Home Shepherds Hut nestling in its own spinney, in a secluded paddock, built by the owners to an exacting standard that supports what we would want to stay in.
Bordered by 300 year old Oaks and Ash trees, supplemented by our own planting, the Little Oaks paddock has a lawned area, but the majority is left to our Wilding project, with over 34 species of wild flowers, plants and grasses identified.
Little Oaks provides the ultimate in glamping. King size bed, fully fitted out Kitchen including Oven, Microwave, Fridge with freezer, Nespresso coffee machine. Living area with unique chairs, full shower and full flushing toilet.
Outside, the lawned area and a hot tub, bar-b-que, pizza oven, it's own post and railed paddock, and a small-holding to walk around and see the animals.
This really is a delightful space.Little Oaks is situated on its own and in its own spinney, enclosed by post and rail fencing and very private. Guests can use all the spinney area, and can walk from the hut across our fields and into the land beyond. Over 1000 acres of land is walkable directly from the Hut without meeting a road. The hut has its own patio, its own lawn, and is sat in a wilding area that we leave to encourage wildlife. We regularly have deer, rabbits, pheasants, bats, owls, kites, and buzzards around the fields, and encourage Guests to enjoy the environment we have created.
