Shire Camping is located in a peaceful 10 acre meadow looking towards Edge Hill. Spacious and with running drinking water, hot showers and flushing toilets. There is a footpath running alongside it taking you 25 minutes to a village shop one way and 20 minutes to a good pub the other way, all across fields. there are some amazing walks to do from the site, and being on the edge of the cotswolds there are plenty of pretty villages and market towns to explore. There are also some well regarded cycling routes in the area.Each pitch is around 11 x 11 metres and is separated from the next pitch with around 3 metres of long grass. The site is flat and even and you can park on your pitch. The toilets, showers and wash basins are clearly located next to the site entrance which you can easily walk to from you pitch. There is drinking water and as well as the wash basins by the entrance there are 3 stand pipes located on the site. Apart from the pitches there is ample space on the site, long meadow grass with a number of pathways mowed into. Roughly 8 acres in total. There are footpath located right outside the campsite entrance leading to 2 villages with pubs and a village shop. Firewood, kindling and firelighters are sold onsite (every pitch has a fire pit). Fire pit bowls available to rent if you so wish.

Wanderlust Membership Feemembership

Wanderlust camping Club are licensed by the government to ‘certificate’ campsites across England, Scotland and Wales. This allows small campsites and Glamping sites to operate with us without the need for formal planning permission. Without exempt camping organisations many of these campsites would not exist. Each time you stay at a Wanderlust Camping Club site a small fee goes to the club. This fee is usually included in the booking fee. Fees collected from our sites help the club to run efficiently which means we can continue to certify great sites across the country. Some of the funds raised by the club go towards advertising and promoting our sites. We also donate to wildlife and nature projects throughout the UK. When you stay at one of our sites the lead guest automatically joins the club. You will be added to our mailing list and will occasionally receive updates such as information on new sites and any donations given out by the club. Membership lasts a lifetime but you can ‘opt’ out of emails any time by contacting the club directly. We collect the full names and email addresses of the lead guests for our membership records. Our membership fees are usually built into the booking fee of your chosen site however they may sometimes be shown as an ‘add on’. The fee for Glamping accommodation is £12.50 and the fee for touring sites (pitch your own tents and caravans) is £6.

We have just returned home from a wonderful stay at shire camping. Showers and toilets were great, a lovely open pitch with great walks straight from the site. Would highly recommend and will be returning!

Relaxing in the countryside

I loved my stay on Harry's land. The site was beautiful with great facilities. A real countryside feel. Harry was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Shire Camping.
