My daughter and I loved our stay at Willey Lane Farm. It's a beautiful, quiet site with lovely views of the valley and the woods. Our hosts were very welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. They provided us with details of the area, advice about where to visit (and how to get there) and where to eat. We took up the offer of a delicious breakfast one morning (making up for my woeful cooking of the previous evening)!
The facilities are great. The yurts had not been completed at the time of our stay, so we had a bathroom and washing up area to ourselves, but even with the yurts occupied I would imagine it would still feel quite luxurious. (They look very comfortable inside too, by the way.) The washing up area had sponges and washing up liquid provided, plus a toaster.
The farm down the road breeds dogs and there is quite a lot of barking at feeding time, plus the calls of peacocks from somewhere, but it's idyllic otherwise and we spent a happy time just watching the house martins when they emerged and the red kite circling.
We had a lovely day out visiting the Small Breeds Farm Park and the Water Garden and completed a wonderful circular walk on and off the Offa's Dyke Path the next day. We certainly hope to be back next year.
