Primitive camping very close to KC
15 ft pop-up camper
Awesome host with a great peaceful spot of land that is really close to the city life!! there were several options of places to camp and one or two of them included a water and electrical hook up. This is primitive camping, which we loved and we had lots of wildlife and privacy..

18 ft travel trailer
Very quiet, secluded spot. Has power, water as advertised. Close to the city. Don’t let the steep driveway intimidate you.. We have an 18’ trailer (21’ tongue to bumper) pulled by an 2500 series long bed truck and we were able to put it down there. I wouldn’t go any bigger. You will need to level it. You will need 4 wheel drive to pull it back out. We did drag a bit in the gravel so if your trailer is low you may have issue. Rhiannon was a very responsive and friendly host. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet secluded spot!

Peaceful and Close to Downtown
17 ft travel trailer
Rhiannon’s campsite was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close by for easy access to get to downtown. The tranquility of the trees and birds was just what we needed. She was an excellent host very accommodating!

Not fit for campers
We showed up to what looked like a semi-demolished home with garbage, an old shipping container, old broken furniture, a pile of concrete rubble, and an RV permanently in the front yard. The concrete rubble blocked the only path down a super steep, narrow (8ft from tree to fence) drive which needed to be backed down to the only level spot in the property directly behind the house. I was not about to drag our camper up a small hill backwards around the concrete, down the tiny root/grass covered drive to just be stuck or dented. We instant booked a nearby farm stay at 10pm and hipcamp refunded us our money the next day.

Great tent sites! Good trailer site
Great location, picturesque! Currently the sites would be best for tents, but a confident 4-wheel drive vehicle with a raised trailer could pull into the lower 2 sites. I used a 25' Scamp trailer and backed down the driveway to park next to the house. The driveway down from the house has one rough area where a setup could bottom out. The tent site near the footbridge is totally enclosed by trees and brush. The fireflies were fun! Rhiannon is wonderful! Her dogs are friendly, and the chickens are great!.
