Group trip
A few friends and I had the opportunity to stay with Carl & Cathy at their farm for the weekend and had a great time! Upon arrival they showed us around a bit of their 100-acre property and the different trails they have to the creek and up the ridge. They also gave us a welcome basket with fresh veggies, meat, and some moonshine (guess which we finished first!). The camp site itself was great - private and quiet but could be parked at, had a picnic table and gas grill, and was close to the creek which we could hear at night and was relaxing. Millbranch farm is hosted by a great couple who is happy to share their land and story, and I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys camping, having some land to explore, and enjoys meeting those who host! Hope to come again!

Boondock next to a babbling creek
Staying at Carl and Cathy's was like visiting family in the country. We were greeted with a wonderful basket of goodies from their garden. Fresh eggs and potatoes among them became a wonderful breakfast the next morning. We spent the night next to a babbling creek watching the night sky and fireflies and enjoying the peace and quiet of the woods next to our campfire. Our kind hosts shared the history of the property, having been in their family for two centuries. They introduced us to their farm animals. And shared the many arrowheads they have found in the fields and riverbeds. We hiked along the stream the next day and wished we had more than one night to spend. If you truly enjoy camping, its the perfect place to stay.
