Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Welcome to Appydaze Hideaway, where our motto is 'Stars, not street lights!’ What we have to offer is simple, and often, simple things are best! Our property is a 120-acre working family property, with 1.2km of river frontage on beautiful Piper's Creek in Kundabung, near Crescent Head. Centrally located between Sydney and Brisbane (Just 2 minutes off the Pacific Hwy), 10 minutes South of Kempsey Service Centre, and 18 minutes North of Port Macquarie Service Centre. The camping area is level and open, with plenty of space for your setup. All campers must be self-contained, with their own toilet, and we kindly ask you to take all waste when you go. Pets are welcome too. We have spent many years building the camp area in order to enable access so that we can share with you, what we are lucky to wake up to each day. This property and our camping offering is a work in progress, any feedback/suggestions (be they positive or negative) we would love to hear from you when you stay with us. Every sunrise and every sunset is different and makes for a new chapter each and every day.Welcome to AppyDaze Hideaway! This campsite is located 25 meters off the local river system, with 150 meters of river frontage. The area provided is both gravel hardstand, with a mainly grassed area available. From the camp area, there is a lovely 200-meter walk along the river to an existing wharf and boat ramp, to fish, swim, and kayak. There is also a maintained nature walk around the river, for a further 300 meters from the wharf. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and we kindly ask they take all waste with them when they go. We do however provide fire pits, with available wood and tables at your leisure. There is a large amount of shade from our beautiful trees around within the camp area itself, alongside lights provided around the timbered area and river line for nighttime. Please camp wherever you wish, as we believe in happy campers at Appy Dayz Hideaway.

We only stayed 2 nights at Peter’s place because we had commitments to move further North to meet friends. Otherwise we would have definitely stayed longer, it’s a great site and Peter is very accomodating. It has a beautiful and expansive river frontage, plenty of space and some well positioned tables and fire pits to be used. Of the Hipcamp’s we stayed at on our recent trip this would be our favourite and well worth a stop!

Absolutely stunning setting and camping areas. Peter couldn’t have been any nicer and more helpful, would have loved to stay more than 1 night. Will be back for sure. Great place

Great for Winter. Not suitable for Summer with only one access point to swim, however in front of other camp sites so it felt intrusive to go swimming, or be stared at by the campers. Potentially may return in Winter.

Wonderful spot!! River views, all flat sites perfect for our roof top tent set up. So many friendly four legged campers enjoying their best lives. Would definitely recommend if you're camping with your dog or just enjoy having dog neighbours for pats. Peter was friendly and very responsive.
