Our 25 acre country block is located only 5 km from the CBD, but provides a very rural outlook. We have 2 dams which provide a haven for ducks and waterbirds. We have 6 alpacas that wander around the paddocks, as well as chickens, kangaroos, wallabies and prolific birdlife. The views are quite beautiful to the south and east. We are very close to the World Heritage New England National Park and the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, where bushwalking is abundant, along with spectacular waterfalls. The University of New England is well worth a visit, as well as beautiful churches, Cathedrals and many more historic buildings, and small townships close by. The sites are self-service with no amenities available, so best suited to those happy to be self-sufficient and with a 'leave no trace' approach.

Vicki was exceptional in helping us find the perfect spot for the caravan and her husband helped guiding us onto level ground. We camped in the east view area. The sunsets and outlook were amazing. Vicki contacted us during our stay to ensure we were comfortable and all was well. Overall, an exceptional good host.

We only had a tiny tent, but we got a nice flat grassy spot with great views and no fuss.

East view was a quiet, picturesque setting with amazing diversity of birds. Vicki was a warm and welconing hostess. We also appreciated the convenience to town & short drives to amazing gorges & waterfalls.

We set up on a sunny spot at East View to take advantage of veiws across the countryside. Location was excellent for exploring the area and our hosts welcoming and helpful.

Camping with lovely views

Vicki and Tim were so welcoming and we throughly enjoyed our evening there. The instructions were very clear. They even provided a fireplace and firewood. Yes Vicki it was very cold in the morning. The diesel heater had a good workout. Our evening was very calm and serene. Such a beautiful property.

East View

We were warmly greeted by Vicki and Tim at this beautifully maintained property. We stayed a night at the elevated East View site that has amazing views all around. Though we were well prepared for a cold night in our tents (3 degrees) it was nice of our host to check that we’d settled in ok. Enjoyed the evening by the campfire, making the last stay of our trip so relaxing. I’d love to visit here again!!
