Clearwater Park is a 300-acre property, with natural native rainforested areas and wide clear wetland areas. It's a beautiful, lush property that offers an oasis for campers and cabin guests to reconnect with nature and enjoy peaceful nights under the stars. We offer both camping sites for self-contained campers, as well as a beautiful rustic cabin. You are welcome to choose your camping spot upon arrival, from several different areas we can recommend. There are numerous species of birds, as well as kangaroos, and other wildlife. Two pretty creeks run through the property, great for exploring. The property is 5 km off the freeway and just 20 minutes to several beautiful beaches, perfect for day trips, before retreating to Clearwater Park for a cosy evening by your campfire. We welcome four-legged friends too! Provided they don't hassle the local wildlife. And fun fact - This is the property mentioned in Troy Cassar-Daley's song 'Halfway Creek Timber Cutting Man'!Choose from several private sites to camp or set up your van, each with lovely views, overlooking bush or wetlands. Wherever you choose, you'll wake to numerous birdcalls, kangaroos, mist over the wetlands, and peace. We do not provide power or facilities, so you need to be self-sufficient in that regard.

Nice quiet location. Good access and easy to find but with caravan and motorhome we did find it a bit difficult finding a level area to set up. A little overpriced for a basic camp site and when compared to others in area.

Such a great setting for self-contained campers. The camping area is well signposted and is in a well-maintained open grassy area, perfect for solar, but surrounded by trees. Plenty of bird life and we even saw a kangaroo hopping by. Penny and Sam have a great set-up here. Far enough off the highway for a peaceful night's sleep but close enough to town, the national park and quiet beaches to explore in the day. A perfect winter escape. Thanks so much for having us!

Tranquility
18 ft pop-up camper
We had a large choice of areas to set up our camper. The ground has a very very gentle slope and a flat area can be easily found. The camping areas have short mowed grass with easy access. The tranquility at Clearwater Park is perfect.

Peaceful outlook and private. 2wd accessible, despite wet weather. Set up a fire in our byo fire pit. Sunset was amazing. Stars were bright Would recommend.
