Cubs Speckle Park is a 200 acre working cattle farm. You can set up camp right next to our permanent running creek. There is a swimming hole around the corner at the old school ground or you can sit in the running creek with your beer right next to the camping area. Throw a line in to catch a fish, drive up to the sheep station creek and the border ranges National park is right on our doorstep. Our closest town is Kyogle, approx 20 minute drive, or we have a General Store located at Wiangaree (10mins away) who make the best burgers ! We are one and a half hours drive from the beautiful Byron Bay, visit Bangalow for a coffee or just enjoy the serenity of farm life. There are no amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace.Cubs Speckle Park is a 200 acre working cattle farm. Afternoon tea time with the cows
20 ft travel trailer · With kids
Cubs Speckle Park had mowed sites along the creek with enough spots to sit and stay cool. The kids loved the cows visiting for afternoon tea and having a paddle in the creek. The old school grounds <1km from the camp grounds has deeper water for a swim or a short paddle. A great base to explore the border Ranges and Kathy took really good care of us :-)

Relaxing time in a beautiful spot
24 ft travel trailer
We loved our stay at Club Speckle Park. Kathy was great to communicate with, friendly and accommodating. On arrival Kathy showed us our beautiful spot. Off grid camping farm style with cute cows over the fence. Stunning 360 views. Access to rocky creek less than 18metres away - crystal clear cool water. Amazing spot definitely worth a trip.

This is such a peaceful spot and yet handy to the Border Ranges National Park. Hosts couldn't don enough for us. Had the place to ourselves except for some curious calves. Make sure you put the actual address into Google Maps and not use "Cubs Speckle Park" as Google has that pin is in the wrong place and will take you up a private road. Will be looking at staying again but in summer so we can take advantage of the creek swimming hole.
