Our campground is a great base to explore the Capertee Valley, including Garden of Stones, Turon and Capertee National Parks. Discover the famous Captertee Valley Bird Watching Trail. Only an hour away from historic Rylstone, Mudgee or Dunns' Swamp, and 20 mins to the old shale mines at Glen Davis.
Dalli's Campground offers a welcoming and well-equipped camping experience, with plenty of space and clean amenities. Most campers appreciated the friendly and attentive host, Steve, who ensures that guests have a pleasant stay. The campground is praised for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings, with notable features like a pizza oven and outdoor bath. However, some campers noted that it can get crowded during peak times, which may affect the availability of facilities.
A peaceful escape from the city! No phone network means a true nature retreat. The clean toilets and hot shower were great, and the large, level grounds made tent setup easy. The manager was welcoming, helped us find a shaded spot, and provided clear guidance. A well-maintained and relaxing campsite—highly recommend!
Beautiful spot and great host. Clean shower and toilets. Steve was very welcoming and helpful. Location was good for some winery visits an hour south of Mudgee.
Our small dog was really confused by the kangaroos hanging at the bush edge around dusk 😀
Such a well thought out campground with everything you need to be comfortable. Felt very safe as a solo camper. Creek is dry at the moment unfortunately but still a lovely spot overall.
