Our property offers a picturesque bushland setting with all natural rocky and hilly terrain. There are plenty of areas for bushwalking but a hand held GPS is recommended.
This campsite is accessible by 4x4 vehicle only.
Guests must be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
There is a large dam with yabbies' to pass the time catching. There is a wide variety of wildlife hidden in the bushes'.
There is a state forest just across the road for guests to explore.
A beautiful spot to stay, and green and lush too. We explored a little bit of Torrington but so much more to see. Surrounded by kangaroos in the morning, even saw a couple of them boxing.
What a beautiful part of the world and such great hosts. Greg and Lesley were so accommodating in giving up their time to show me around. Campsites were cool, shady and very clean. Top spot for a bushwalk with an abundance of native wildlife. Kangaroos, wallaroos, wallabies, goannas, small eagles, black cockatoos and so much more. Greg and Lesley operate a wildlife rescue service and you will see some of their rescued animals still hanging around close by on the property, obviously aware they are safe and loved.
Cant wait to go back.
We camped in camp-site 2. It was amount some beautiful native trees. We had a quiet weekend with some fantastic bush walking. There are no tracks however this didn't stop us doing some bush bashing. We where able to take our 2 kids to the kangaroo feeding at 5pm with permission from Greg and Leslie. Thank you for your hospitality. See you guys again.
