*** New feature added! Composting toilets!!*** Easy access, tidal creek, large flat campsites, private fire pits, clean composting toilets and close to everything the south coast has to offer. Being only 1.3km off the Princes Highway this is a perfect spot to stop over on your way through the beautiful South Coast NSW. Whether it's just for the night passing through or longer term to explore the many attractions the area offers or just to have a few relaxing days to unwind, this spot will suit your needs and hopefully more. The homestead is easily accessed from the main road with a tidal creek on the border of the property. Mogo Creek Homestead is located close to all the major tourist attractions - Mogo town (1.3km), Mogo Wildlife Park (0.9km), Foxdog gin Distillery (1.3km), two trailheads of the brand new Mogo mountain bike trails (1.3km each way) and many more. Mogo Creek flows into Tomaga River offering estuary fishing accessible with kayak or canoe or enjoy a lazy day by the creek. All sites have access to the creek through a gate. The creek is fenced off from the sites making it safer for young children. Plenty of room in open flat paddock where you can set up camp within 15m of the tidal creek. Sites all have flat areas suitable for tents and easy caravan leveling. Fire pit and hot plate to put on fire at each site. Firewood not provided but can be purchased at the camp site. Two composting toilets located onsite. No pets as we have free-range chickens. No access to potable water, you must bring your own. Please note - You may experience sounds of wildlife through the night - monkeys, lions or roosters. No fireworks. About our family! Amazing well maintained property, right next to Mogo Zoo which was cool to visit. Little River that we swam in. Perfect. We will be back. Thanks for having us.

It's not every camp you can say you can hear lions in the distance at sunset (at Mogo Zoo). Spotlessly clean and great grassed area to camp in. We had it to ourselves for two nights, but with the full quota of three campers there is still plenty of room. A lovely Hip camp.

We had a great time staying at Moho creek homestead. Darcy and Stacey were excellent hosts providing us with lots of local information. The camping area was very well maintained with level sites and easy access with our van. This is the best Hipcamp we have stayed at and will certainly stay again.

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet

We loved staying here. It is on the Tomago River and Darcy and Stacy provide kayaks to use. We spent a day kayaking down the river, a really good workout coming back against the current. We stopped for a break and saw a gorgeous echidna waddle by. There is plenty of room with the sites well spaced out. A composting toilet is available. It's a five minute drive to Mogo and mountain bike tracks and some lovely shops. Mogo Wildlife Park is right next door if you have kids.
