Perfect getaway

Shepherds Rest Site 1

I really loved camping at Shepherds Rest! Jacquie is an amazing host and I would honestly come back to just chat with her. Loved meeting the llama and goats as well. Perfect place for a short getaway from Canberra and Sydney. Also got along with the other campers, still very spacious. For those who love photography, a great place to capture the Australian bush.

The Shipping Container

Jacqui was a lovely, friendly host. The amenities were great, especially the bathroom "hut" - so charming! We were able to enjoy a hot shower and shared a beautiful campfire in the common courtyard with others staying there night. The shipping container was just the basics of what we needed of a warm bed for the night and plenty of room for our 3 dogs. Thanks again Jacqui!

Great place ! Well maintained camp site ! Really enjoyed peaceful time with my family. Host Jacqui is always super nice and friendly. We will definitely be back Highly recommend !

The Shipping Container

The kitchen was cute and well appointed, plenty of seating options available. The barn bathroom was also lovely and spacious. The shipping container was spacious appeared to be still in the process of being converted and there were way too many spiders for me to cope with and I ended up sleeping in the car. 3k of gravel road and steep entry to the property was also a challenge for my low 2WD. Would visit again but perhaps next time take a 4WD and/or a tent. We enjoyed being able.to see the Milky Way.
