Our 25 acre HipCamp area is located safely within our 300 acre property which enjoys approximately 5 kilometres of pristine and private Murray River frontage in the beautiful rural city of Albury. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites . We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden & Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness & Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away. Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The two best sites for swimming are The River Bend and The Willows. We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time. We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water. Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. We do have an area to launch your motor or paddle boat or jet ski We are on the banks of the magnificent Murray River and all our three sites are absolute river frontage with uninterrupted views up, down and across the Murray River. Relaxing Red River Gums

The Red River Gums

We loved taking our van to Willowbank. We stayed at the Red River Gums. Stunning view of the river. Not as easy access to the river as other campsites there but definitely still able. Vicki was extremely helpful. You can hear the road as you are close to town but the camp is secluded. We made the most of being close to town and enjoyed the local Cafe.

The Red River Gums

Beautiful spot by the river with access to swim. We enjoyed seeing the canoeists passing by.

The Willows

What a beautiful part of the world to disconnect and relax! The river access was fantastic, easy swimming and fishing, the kayaks and paddlers passing with a wave. Albury town center is a stone's throw away for those who need a barista coffee in the morning. Vicki was welcoming and a great host, Thank you Not that I want the world to find out about this little gem, but it really is a great site.

The River Bend

What an absolutely delightful, peaceful, spot on the banks of the magnificent Murray River. We spent the day swimming, fishing, exploring the River and reading. Wine by the campfire completed a restful rejuvenating day. Couldn't ask for more. Our hosts were friendly and happy to leave us to ourselves. Highly recommended. We will be back and stay much longer. The River Bend

the river bend campground at willowbank is absolutely beautiful right on the banks of the Murray. The current is very fast but the river bend has a beautiful swimming hole with no current to swim. Vicki supplied excellent directions to arrive at the campground with a meet and greet. Willowbank is close to the town of Albury with a beautiful cafe called the riverdeck Cafe with beautiful park and swimming hole.
