Experience the serene beauty of a cool forest with flowing water and majestic rocks at our peaceful location. Nestled on a 150-year-old vegetable and hemp farm, you'll be greeted by friendly animals including horses, a donkey named Fred, pygmy goats, chickens, and guinea hens. Enjoy the convenience of Pickwick areas equipped with tables and grills (bring your own charcoal) for delightful outdoor meals. Explore the great hiking trails and immerse yourself in the beauty of nearby Lake Lure, located just 15 miles away. Asheville is also within reach, offering activities such as zip lining, hiking, rock climbing, and biking. Camp in our spacious barn equipped with electricity and water, and we provide spices for your culinary needs. If you prefer tent camping, we offer two secluded spots for a tranquil experience. Additionally, we offer vegetable growing classes where you can learn about organic farming techniques. Don't miss out on our delicious fresh honey from our own honey bees, and indulge in homemade biscuits made with love from our organic veggies.Conveniently nestled between Asheville and Lake Lure, our location provides easy access to a variety of activities, or you can simply unwind and relax in our serene campsite area with your tent. The forest surrounding us is cool and features a tranquil stream, offering a refreshing atmosphere. As you explore the area, you may come across artifacts and arrowheads, remnants of the Native American camps that once graced these lands. We take pride in our rich history and the natural beauty that surrounds us. On our property, we have horses, a friendly donkey named Fred, chickens, and goats, adding to the charm and character of our farm. We are committed to organic farming and grow delicious, fresh vegetables for you to enjoy. There is a hose with drinking water available on the property for your convenience. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. We invite you to join us and experience the tranquility and beauty of our campsite. Come and immerse yourself in nature, soak in the history, and enjoy the company of our wonderful animals. Thank you, and we look forward to welcoming you.
