We loved the Forge Hill site. It was relatively quiet, although you can still unfortunately hear traffic at night. Other campers were there, but everything is very nicely laid out so we mostly felt like we were pretty secluded. There was an incident with a tree coming down across the access road, but the owner was very quick to get it cleared out of the way.
One caveat is that if you have children who are going to spend time in the water, make sure to put them in water shoes. There are a ton of large fresh water clams and it seems like the raccoons get after them and leave broken shells everywhere. We had a couple badly sliced feet.
We will definitely be back. The stream was great for the kids to play and catch crayfish, and a constant supply of (free) firewood was 100% appreciated.
