Electrical, water, and sewage hookups are available at all sites.
RV, Van, or Trailer camping is now possible in the amazing Hawthorne/Division Neighborhood of Portland. What's nearby? Everything.
This is a very rare flat and spacious driveway with hookups available. Don't have a rig? There is a 33' Airstream available for longer stays.
You need to be standalone vehicle- so either standalone tanks or using the available services. This is a neighborhood so no dumping grey water or worse!
However the good news is that parking is plentiful and you are an easy walk or bike to everything. There are rental scooters, bikes, boats, and plenty of public transport also. Your host can answer all your questions about festivals, events, sites, restaurants, museums, shops, pubs, cafés etc etcWelcome to Portland and the very unique location of Galaxy!
What's great is once we get you situated you don't need to drive until you leave. Walk in any direction and there are things to see and do.
We only do a handful of bookings a year and then we block off all the dates. If you wish to visit walkable Portlandia in the summer, we recommend booking early before we close all the other dates.
We will need to get your hookups set up and schedule any waste dumps. Give you the internet wifi and you are good to go.
Biking or Scooting in this city is delightful or catch a bus, train, streetcar, or tram. We are famous for our food carts, and have some coffee, beer, and cocktails to wash it down. Even our water is delicious.
We are surrounded by awe inspiring nature inside and outside the city but sometimes it is nice to have a bit of civilization too.
Music venues, museums, parks, historic theaters, vintage clothes, arcades, record stores, farmers markets, jewelry, crafts, pot shops, sportswear, piercings, tattoos, and antiques are just some of our specialties.
The neighborhood is very quiet so respect that. You will have a little bit of room in the drive with bushes on either side. Our particular neighborhood is known for historic and varied buildings spanning the last 150 years as well as amazing gardens. There are mini libraries and other surprises all over to be discovered.
I usually have a nice little sitting area set up for folks. You might see me watering stuff but I leave the amount of interaction up to you. Any questions just ask or text.
