We have wood on site for fire pits and welcome friendly dogs or other pets upon approval. We have even hosted a small pet pig. The RV park is on the edge of town in a quiet neighborhood. The school is 100 yards away has tennis courts, track, basketball court and frisbee golf that are open to the public.Located on Cornucopia Highway a couple miles south of Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. Many lakes and view points are available to drive to in any type of vehicle. We are also 20 minutes from Hells Canyon Resevoir. Very quiet, rustic spot but was clean. The grass was mowed and very few mosquitos. Would stay again

Quiet and beautiful!
8 m travel trailer
My husband did not want me to share a review, because then this little part of paradise would be discovered. It was great. The site was serene, plenty of space, neighbors were quiet and their dogs so well mannered. We spent over a week at Quail Run and loved every day of it. Halfway is the perfect cowboy town in Oregon, coffee at the local coffee shop was great, feed store had things we needed, local market had great supplies and we spent a day in the library. The brand new disc golf at the local high school was a ton of fun. Town and the disc golf are an easy walk from the camp site. The wi-fi was better at Quail Run than at my house! We had site #1 that was nestled in the trees by the road. There was minimal traffic and the noise from the road was not a bother at all. Site #6 would also be a great spot. It backs up to farm land and enjoys the sunshine. Site #5 would be a bit tougher, the sewer was close, but you would have to hook into site #6 water and to reach the electricity, the cord would have to stretch over a cement pad. This is a perfect spot with full hookups and a self contained camper. We had everything we needed! Thank you Rachel for a great opportunity to stay at your place.

Stay the night?
7 m Class B
It was an good place to spend the night. There was water and sewer that we didn't use. The 30 amp power gave us an polarity error on our surge protector but worked ok. This was like a place to store RVs with a couple of empty spots. We were in site 1. Didn't look for the toilets. Didn't see or hear from the host except to tell us which spots were available and the wifi password. Wifi did work were we were.

It wasn’t much but certainly served its purpose. It was very peaceful nights even tho we were just off the main road. Stores were conveniently close by and I did like that’s pets were allowed.

Rustic but nice. Family owned and run. Very friendly and hospitable. Self contained units are probably the best bet. Sites have 50/30/20, potable water and a sewer connection. Walking distance to the small town of Halfway, Oregon, a genuine cowboy/cowgirl town located on the Hell’s Canyon scenic drive.
