Camp next to the iconic Smith River Store & Tavern. Swim in the river. Hike to Kentucky Falls. Fish, hunt or just be one with nature. Or maybe just sit in the tavern for awhile enjoying a nice IPA or cider and watch a sporting event or concert. There are many opportunities for recreation or leisure along Smith River. 20 minutes to ocean beaches so you won't have to camp in the often foggy and windy conditions right on the coast. A short drive to old growth forests. Our site is just below the store & tavern and our home. It is a dispersed site for RV and tent camping. There is a porta potty located in the store parking lot for campers to use.

Great location!
Tent
What a great spot! Troy is extremely kind and helpful. Nice to be able to pop into the pub have a beer, some fries and chat with the locals. Location is great , with two boat launches on the Smith River nearby and an easy drive to Reedsport and Winchester Bay. Highly recommend!

Friendly camp site-

This campsite is very quiet, clean and pleasant. 5 sites. Troy was a great host and the fact that he has a general store and bar only added to the comfort of the evening.

Quiet, Woodsy Refuge
9 m travel trailer · With pets
A new HipCamp opportunity to put on your list! Perfect alternative to crowded, noisy campgrounds on the coast. Quiet and peaceful. Store and cozy, country bar are a fun hangout with owners and welcoming locals who offer helpful recommendations on beaches and other opportunities to explore nearby.
