Overlooking the Loire Valley, in Chênehutte, at the gates of Saumur, our 17th century farmhouse renovated with ecological materials, and a Safari tent coexist in a two hectare park. In Maison Joulin, we cultivate simplicity, authenticity, and the art of hospitality in the spirit of a large family house.
We created this place with respect for the values that inhabit us: authenticity, simplicity and respect for the environment. The Safari tent in its green setting, at the bottom of the one-hectare park, has a large balcony open to nature with an outdoor lounge area. It is open from May to September.Unusual accommodation in a Safari Serengeti tent, located at the end of the park, with organic breakfast, for two adults or a family with two children (up to 15 years old).
The installation includes: 1 / In the tent, an 18m² bedroom with a large canopy bed 160 by 200 cm (high comfort ecological mattress). For children 2 very comfortable camp beds are added.
2 / A separate bathroom of 7m² with a shower cubicle, a ceramic washbasin, a totally natural toilet (Separett system: without sawdust and odorless).
3 Hot water is produced from a solar water heater and the 12 volt lighting is photo-voltaic. For cool nights, an auxiliary heater is at your disposal. The water in the tent is drinkable.
4 / Under the 15m² canopy of the tent, an outdoor kitchen with all the necessary elements to cook up a summer kitchen (oven, gas hob, sink, utensils and crockery, tropical refrigerator).Between the trees a hammocks await you for a sweet moment of idleness.
5 / Important: In each formula, your room is ready: bed with sheets and towels provided.
