Welcome to our humble and private meadow! We are a young couple just starting our homesteading and parenting journey. With a toddler and a few gardens, you'll be witnessing the very beginning of Full Joy Farm. Depending on your timing, you might be able to snag some fresh produce, or apples right off the tree! Here at Full Joy you will find plenty of space to pitch your tent, a babbling brook nearby, and a gorgeous view of the sunset. We provide a compost toilet / TP and privacy bathroom tent. Firewood is available for purchase, so you can enjoy your own little fire pit! New in 2025: We have a renovated camper van available for folks looking for a little more infrastructure. Queen sized bed, skylights, kitchen counter + sink - go ahead and glamp it up. 15 minutes to Hartford and Woodstock, fishing and swimming at the White River, hiking at Quechee Gorge, a beautiful farm experience at Billings, and much much more. You're cordially invited to our meadow! Take a two minute walk and enjoy the babbling brook, fire pit, and privacy. Fifteen minutes from Woodstock / WRJ.

Firepit. Plenty of dried reeds for kindling - we'd be more than happy to supply with a bundle of firewood for $10
Toilet available
Composting toilet. The compost toilet is very rustic - just a container with a toilet seat and lid attached, within a small privacy tent. There will be an accompanying container for cover material that you scoop into the toilet container after each use. We will provide a roll of toilet paper, and there is some tree cover for privacy. Please leave the toilet container and cover material container in its location, and we will add to our compost after your stay. Thank you!

Absolutely incredible experience! Tatum and his family are amazing hosts and provided a great experience. Could not recommend staying at Full Joy Farm more! They’ve done an unbelievable job on the converted camper and, even in the dead of winter, it was comfortable and warm. Highly recommend staying here and I hope my travels bring me back!

Beautiful Site
Tent · Group trip
We enjoyed our time at Full Joy Farm. Taylor and Tatum were extremely kind and allowed us to even have a few tomato’s from their garden. The foliage was beautiful and the river near the side is so relaxing. It’s very simplistic camping but definitely a great experience. There is no shade at the site and there is a bit of a walk so prepare for that.

A wonderful place to camp! The area is very peaceful and surrounded by a small valley. The stream not far from the site is very fresh as well. Tatum is an awesome host :)

Clean and lovely!
Tent · With pets
The owners were so lovely, and their field was absolutely gorgeous this time of year (mid-July). The brook was cute and full of minnows and tadpoles, the fire pit was an excellent touch, but the highlight of the space had to be the fields of tall grasses and flowers that were absolutely FULL of goldfinches (and other local birds). It was gorgeous

Hipcamper's Beware
Tent
We reserved this camp for 2 nights arriving on a Friday night. only to discover that the 'short walk' is more like a 1/4 mile. If you are living out of a backpack, I guess that would be acceptable. We contacted the owners right away with our disappointment.......but too bad- no refunds. Fortunately, we were welcomed at Summer Pastures in Bethel, VT near Silver Lake. We would highly recommend Site 3 with full view of the Milky Way Galaxy!!
