Magical menagerie
Such a magical place to stay! Prince and Elizabeth the horses were such beauties, the three geese gals made the most wonderful welcoming committee, and Matthew has really made a splendid abode! We stayed during a big rain storm and stayed so cozy and dry, and loved all of the sweet touches from fresh flowers to the messages from past guests. Also, the location is fabulous: so many great spots nearby, only wish we could have stayed on the land longer!

Tent
A wonderful stay and perfect start to my bikepacking trip. I met Matthew in the pouring rain and we hung out until a lull in the rain and walked over to the tent. Cozy bed, beautiful view and extremely peaceful surroundings. Only regret was not staying longer!

Shelter in a storm
Tent
Peaceful & beautiful. We stayed a night while bikepacking the VTXL traversing Vermont. Red Osier was a shelter in a storm, literally for us: we dropped the drapes and listened to the rain. Very comfortable. Matthew’s hospitality was great.
