This property is located at the base of Mount Richmond, just 15 minutes from Portland. Bridgwater lakes is just down the road. And Bridgwater bay about 10 km from camp. We have grassy site available with plenty of shade for self contained campers. We often have Kangaroos and Koalas along with plenty of other wildlife on the property so keep an eye out and make the most of a great wildlife watching opportunity. There are a number of water holes on the property the wildlife like to enjoy. The property borders a section of the Great South West Walk and you can easily get onto the track from here. This walk has some stunning scenery and is a great spot to enjoy this part of the coastline, all from a comfortable base back at camp. Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided pending there is no restrictions in place. Pets are welcome but please clean up after them and ensure they respect the wildlife in the area. Nice flat site (Site 2) with plenty of space and a cosy feel tucked into a bit of a valley. The waterhole was obviously suffering from the dry conditions but miraculously not a mozzie to be seen or slapped. Brendan's directions were clear and easy to follow.

Only stopped one night as plans changed but very secluded spot - and a gorgeous koala wandered through!! Plenty of space to wander around .

Perfect for campers or camper trailers. For us in a bigger caravan I would like to see a little more clearing of the tree stumps and over head branches Very peaceful and easy to find though.

Camp 2 by the water hole

We had a really great stay, very quiet & secluded. We stayed beside the water & were thrilled to find no mozzies, but there are flies. Finding firewood wasn’t a problem around, the pit supplied is a great size We saw a koala, wallaby, kangaroos, an echidna & countless parrots & birds! We stayed with our two children (4&6 years old) who loved exploring the property. Fascinating things to see all over the block, old/run down cars, house & much more to see Would absolutely come again if we are ever in the area again.

Great stop over for us heading through Portland. Very quiet and relaxing. Recommend camping next to the water hole.
