The Shearers Quarters has been home to Mount William Station’s extended family of shearers and station workers since 1869. With eight bedrooms (a master and seven shearers’ rooms), three bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and living room, a sun-soaked courtyard, outdoor barbecue, and a fire pit, it is a cozy and welcoming space that was built to be shared. Once occupied by the head wool classer on the farm, the Shearers’ Master is a spacious, stylishly renovated bedroom that features a queen bed and pull-out daybed. When booking the Shearers’ Master for an individual stay, the kitchen, living areas, and bathrooms will be shared with other guests. Each of our seven Shearers bedrooms features a queen bed or two twin singles, and has been beautifully updated while maintaining the original features to take you back in time.
