A picturesque retreat on 180 acres of beautiful Australian bushland just three hours north of Melbourne, the Paddock at Ulupna is the perfect spot for weddings, family events, business functions, and quiet getaways. We have eight self-contained cabins with full kitchens and air conditioning, 15 caravan camping spots, and a 234-square-meter, hand-built mud-brick event space. Located on Ulupna Island – nestled between the Ulupna Creek and the Murray River – we are a five-minute drive to natural river beaches perfect for a refreshing swim, BBQ'ing delicious local saltbush lamb, and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. At night, sit around the campfire to tell stories and watch kangaroos snack on the nearby grass. Look up for not only the most incredible stargazing but also to find koalas in the trees – Fluffy Butt and River are their most beloved regulars. We would love to host you for an unforgettable getaway!Pitch a tent / park your van- View native bushland from the comfort of your personal traveling abode! The Paddock accommodation and functions is a beautiful escape on Ulupna Island. Bring your caravan, spend the night in our cabins, or tent it under the stars.

Beautiful spot near Ulupna Beach. We bought our older style Jayco pop-top with no issues. Appreciated being able to choose our own site. Plenty of room and very handy having a toilet and shower available with small children! Thanks for they stay - we had a great time!

The fact that there were toilets and a shower was nice, sufficient, and clean. Additionally, the camp kitchen was good and practical. The campsite generally looks nice. However, the entire area is covered with dirt roads, and every time a car passes, everything gets dusty. Also, if you are not camping on the grass, it might be hard to relax due to ants, so make sure to bring insect spray with you. There are absolutely no rules at the campsite—people played loud music and partied loudly until 4 AM for two nights straight. Sleeping was almost impossible. Even though we reported this to the campsite owner, we received neither a response nor any assistance.

9 ft pop-up camper

Just delightful! What a beautiful spot, so lucky to be able to get to places like this, thank you John. Place was busy on Saturday for long weekend but thoroughly enjoyed the festival feel with festoon lights and happy people. Thanks for heads up from John re the swimming hole ☺️ I ll be back for sure
