Healing Hearts Ranch was started to inspire hope and healing through partnership with horses. Equine Assisted Learning sessions are available by contacting your host for more information.
The ranch is 23 acres partially wooded with a nature trail and open fenced paddocks and fields. We have a herd of horses on the property and offer Equine Assisted Learning and riding lessons onsite. Tent site is in wooded area at back of property, porta potty by the barn available. Water from spigot by tent site.
Guests love it here: "What a nice surprise! I was not sure what to expect staying on a horse ranch, but it was everything I could have hoped for and more. Kristy was an awesome host and there was one other group up by the rv pad, but we hardly saw them. Dogs were very friendly and Kristy let us use a propane fire-pit to provide warmth and a fire for our tent site. The bathrooms were clean and there was some water by our site, but we did not use it.
The camp, for the tent site… we arrived and she drove us all over her property and told us to just choose where we wanted to camp. We chose to stay in back of the horse area. While we could see the house from there, we didn’t care and if you want to move back in the woods further, there are spots back there too that would provide more privacy if you need that. This is a great site and a one of a kind experience being that close to the horses."
Kristy was so easy to communicate with and her place is simply magical. Though you’re right by the house, it feels private and quiet. Incredibly special to wake up to so many beautiful horses. Thank you for having us!
Overall we had a great stay. There are a lot of amazing things going on at the ranch. Communication was good and the host was very accommodating. Great spot close to Olympia.
We had a great stay at Kristy’s ranch! Kristy was incredibly hospitable and kind. Unfortunately we had plans during the day so we weren’t able to spend much time at Kristy’s outside of sleeping but when we were there Kristy made us feel right at home! We would love to be back - thank you Kristy!
The maiden voyage with dogs and van. Kristy’s place was perfect! I was able to park on the back of her property and close the gate. There were intersecting horse trails we could meander, privacy and blackberries to feast on. Very quiet aside from horse snuffles. Easy in/out. Great communication with Kristy. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot.
Such a gracious and kind host! Would stay again! Loved seeing horses!
