WE PREFER GROUPS Please - not essential, but unlimited room. We aim to make your camping experience a special time away, just you and the she-oaks, starry nights and occasional wildlife.... a warm campfire. All you need to do is ...enjoy! We are a grain and sheep farming property situated on the Mortlock River about one and a half hours from Perth. Great for weekend campers or people needing a spur-of-the-moment break. Dogs welcome. We have many different 'sites' for people depending on a) if they have their own toileting requirements, b) number / age of children and adults, and c) size and style of camping. A septic toilet is available - please advice when booking if you need Toilet access. Those who are self-sufficent have more options re remote sites. Each site can have a campfire (in season) but - BYO WOOD please. We do not want people disturbing or taking fallen timber and river debris because of the Eco-environment of this location. This includes the children ripping off branches and dragging timber. You can ORDER wood through us - with advance notice please, Please take all rubbish with you. Pets are OK - please pick up after your dogs - other campers use these sites. Consider a leash around the camping area. Your dogs can run free while you are walking - but be conscious of any nearby stock. Please indicate intended arrival time and if you need toilet access.

Fantastic spot, plenty of room for the dogs to run free and other campers spaced far enough away to not see anyone. Owners were responsive on the app and very helpful.

Great spot to camp! Plenty of space between campsites and good facilities right on the river. Beautiful property with livestock and great views.

Great quiet spot with small flowing creek for the kids to play in, dog could roam freely or just chill by the fire. (Good advice from Cathie about the mozzies).

Our site was too small for our group. The host kept referring to our group as 5 set ups but there were 9 setups. They received emails from all of the group. They said it was cheaper paying cash but it's actually more expensive as they charged $10 per child 2-10yrs per night. It says on hip camp children 5yrs and under are free. So all our group were worse off as they had children between 2-5yrs The site was nice and the views were lovely, but the lack of space between our group and other campers around us spoilt our weekend. This just seems like another hipcamp that crams in as many people as possible.
