A sheep and wildflower farm 200Kms north of Perth. We export preserved native flowers with a constant array of flowers which is at its best during the spring months. There is a self-drive loop set up to enable visitors to see the flowers where they grow.
Choose from either the Flower Shed sites, which have a toilet and hot shower, or tuck yourself into the secluded sites amongst the River Gum plantation, which is best for self-contained campers (however there is a long-drop). All sites are flat and easily accessible for all vehicles.
Dogs are welcome. The sites all have fire pits, and campfires are allowed provided fire restrictions are not in place. You are welcome to collect firewood from the property for use during your stay.
Really enjoyed the drive around the loop. There was a hot shower and toilet at the back of the shed, which was clean and well maintained. We had a great peaceful night under the stars with a lovely camp fire. Thank you for being such great hosts.
We enjoyed our stay even though it seemed to be peak fly season and there was an early fire ban so no campfire which had appealed to me. Staying in our caravan near the flower shed was good because we had easy access to running water, shower & toilet, but next time would like to stay a bit closer to nature in the treed area. Maureen and Clive while busy on the farm are easy going and helpful, making for a relaxing break.
Had a great time away. It was so quiet amongst the River Gums, we had the whole camping area to ourselves. It was a lovely drive around the property looking at all the wildflowers. It was so nice to also take a drink and nibbles up the sunset lookout.
This place is so beautiful and the host is really nice, however when I bush camp I don’t want to be sitting on top of other people so this let it down for me. Given the amount of land I would recommend spreading people out so they can have their own little piece of nature.
