Fort Custer Campground

Get your butt ta Augusta—specifically Fort Custer—with as many friends as you can muster! Alongside this modern campground, you’ll find not one, not two, but three whole lakes, plus the Kalamazoo River, in which to splash around as you please betwixt mountain biking, horseback riding, dog sledding, and other such on-land activities. You’ll also delight in the old-growth forests and prairie restoration this area boasts—but watch out for poison ivy! Unfortunately it’s been spotted on this campground, but hey, Mother Nature’s gotta keep us in line somehow.
