We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. 🏊‍♂️ There is plenty to explore in the area, including: 🏞 Crows Nest Falls National Park (good for a swim) 🐃 Bullocky's Rest and creekside walk in Crows Nest (dog friendly) ☕️ Lovely cafes in Crows Nest (eg. The Highfields Pioneer Village covers an area of 20 acres of picturesque grounds with over 70 buildings of historic interest, pleasant surroundings and picnic facilities. It is located just 15kms north of Toowoomba. Our property is part of the Highfields Pioneer Village* complex located just 20 minutes from Toowoomba. This campsite is a wonderful place to rest whilst taking in the scenic surroundings of the village which is the home of the Big Cow. Visit the Toowoomba Fire Brigade Museum which houses an historic collection of memorabilia, documenting the story of the people who have worked every day to keep us safe from fires since 1877. The collection includes Uniforms, Badges & patches, historical records & photographs and over 6 Historic Fire Engine Vehicles, Apparatus, Models & Collectibles. Visit the iconic Ambulance Museum that tells the story of Ambulance services in Queensland. We are within easy reach of Highland Falls which has some great walking tracks and view points of the falls. Pets are also permitted in this bushland area but must be on a leash. We are just 3 mins from local shops, McDonald's, KFC. This is the perfect spot for those who want to wind down and escape the hustle and bustle. We have amenities available and pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. Sorry, no campfires. Bush Camping. *Tickets to the Village are optional and can be purchased onsite from the Kiosk. Recommended time to view the Pioneer Village is at least 2 hours. Glossary of Terms: Potable Water: means drinking water in a jug, bucket or other pot, it does not mean water hook up. We are Bush Camping we do not provide water hook up, sorry. Deep Dime

Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. This area offers multiple composting toilets and wood powered hot water bush shower and outdoor bath. There is also a large permanent deep waterhole a short distance from this camping area. We have temporarily paused out Hill camp sites, due to continuing property maintenance and improvements. The Hilltop on our place is a lovely spot to watch the sunset with a glass of your favorite beverage, and even if you are camped at Creekside, you are welcome to walk or drive up to hilltop. Just remember we are a working property, so leave gates as you find them. Our property is an easy drive from wineries, large dams, Bunya Mountains, art galleries, state forests, mountain bike tracks, and scenic Kingaroy. We are dog friendly as long as dogs are not aggressive and well controlled.

We also have grain trains that pass by throughout the day and night. When you are travelling on Shepperd Road look for our "Chookhouse Farm" sign and a chook mailbox, that is the driveway you need to take. Drive up to the sign and call number on sign. Please wait for staff member to come out and greet you in your car. LONG TERM RENTALS AVAILABLE Amenity block with hot water and flushing toilets for those booked in Pepperina. ADULTS ONLY STRICTLY NO CHILDREN. LIMITED SITES. Top Paddock power, Top Paddock powered and Paddock Camp unpowered we have gas camp style showers (preset temperature for the safety of children). It will not be a hot shower like you have at home, however you will get clean. There are also pit toilets in the camp areas. In each camp area we have 3 x rubbish bins. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT HAVE DRINKING WATER AVAILABLE. WE DO NOT HAVE WATER TO FILL YOUR CARAVAN. Plenty of room for self-contained caravans/motorhomes and places to pitch a tent or camper. National Parks, walking trails, Wineries, Gourmet Pubs and Restaurants, Markets, two magnificent parks with play areas for children and so many other points of interest to see and discover. You get to meet cows, pigs, alpacas, Boer goats Dorper Sheep, a multitude of chickens, geese, peacocks and guinea fowl. Miss Piggy loves posing for the camera. Being in a rural area we have strict guidelines for campfires. We follow all Local Government guidelines and the QFS. No blazing fires, all fires to be extinguished at night, no coals or ash to be left under trees or on the grass. We will pick up each morning coals and ash if required. It's a quiet, spacious and relaxing spot only minutes to Toowoomba where you'll find lots of weekend markets and other attractions. Lots of bicycle tracks in town. Meatstock March 2025 Carnival of Flowers Sept/Oct 2025 We have 20 beautiful acres here, with several acres in the middle and the back of the property ideal for setting up camp. The land is mostly level, with trees scattered throughout, and all areas have lovely farm views. Whether your on the hill with 360-degree views looking over the campfire while watching the sunset or in the paddock, amongst the trees, you will have space to relax We have 30 sheep and 10 head of cattle on the property, and often lots of lambs which can be seen at any time. 2 newborns 20/04/25 and lots more soon We also have 14 antique tractors, and other old farm equipment, which add to the eclectic farm charm. We also have lots of residential wildlife, including kangaroos and plenty of birdlife, such as kookaburras, cockatoos, galahs, finches, Wrens, Willy wagtails, parrots and more. All guests need to be self-sufficient, with their own toilet, shower and power There are toilets at the park in Wyreema 3k Local shop just up the road for basic essentials and fuel, plus there are great pub meals nearby at the Bull n Barley(sorry no dogs) - 8 minutes drive away. Myola Bush Retreat

Choose from six slashed locations or find your own space! Choose a spot beside the beautifully populated dam to spot the turtles. Fires welcome with plenty of fallen timber available to scavenge. Dogs off leash but not roaming to other camps. Keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 6am. Sites are fully self contained with no power. Accessible for 2WD and towing however bumpy grass track and slippery when wet. *New option* for a walk along our hilltops with stunning expansive views of the surrounding area. Perfect location for a sunset picnic and drinks. Or an energizing workout for that early morning sweat. Entry to the walk is via two barbed wire gates that must remained closed after entry or just slip between the two wires with care. Be aware that there are cattle in these adjoining paddocks who are very friendly and like to follow! They are harmless as long as they aren't being chased. Please keep dogs on a leash during this walk.
