Weekend Trip to Peace & Quiet by the River!

We had a wonderful time camping at site 2! Beautiful, clean, spacious, private, and having a washing station (even non-potable) was really great. There was a perfect spot for the hammock down by the water, and lots of equipment for campfire cooking. Susan has a great system in place, and check in was a breeze. Highly recommend!

2 nights at Peace & Quiet by the River!

We had a great experience camping on the farm! It was also such a help to arrive to have our firewood on site. Jenn was there to meet us at our arrival time and was incredibly friendly and helpful. We also spent the day hiking at Hawk Mountain which was literally a five minute drive from the farm.

2 nights at Conowingo Creek Campsite

What a great little camp site. My dog and I had a lot of fun exploring and hiking around the area. Lots of little perks like a portable charger and heater are available for extra. Gini is a great host. Overall, highly recommend this place.

I kinda wanna keep it a secret, but I wouldn’t do that to them……because they’re super awesome people. So are their dogs. So is their food and attentiveness! Even delivered coffee with fixings every morning 🥰 The kiddo has already claimed the treehouse with her buddy for the next time. I’ll stick with the glorious glamp site. My kid, the dog, and I, just got back from the most amazing glamping trip we’ve had yet. From the hammock at the creek to the beautifully manicured grass paths that you can walk, barefoot, this place triple exceeded my expectations. All the wood I needed, every utensil and tool imaginable, they’ve got it. We slept incredibly well, and the ‘loo’ is a true outdoor luxury 😂. If you’re a camper, who takes a shovel with you, you’ll get me. Thank you Gini and Kelly for sharing your space! Super cool what you’ve done here!!

2 nights at Circle S Farm Camping

We stayed 2 nights and loved it. It was easy to get too from the highway. The area really is beautiful. We stayed at site 1. The 3 sites are near their beautiful horse, he came to the fence when we came outside and we could watch him through our back window. Stephen and Abby were wonderful hosts. We had a really rough time with our new tires on the way down and had to have work done while we were there. Could’ve really ruined this leg of our trip but Stephen and Abby were so nice and helpful. They made us feel like old friends. Abby brought me to meet her free range chickens, they were so sweet. I got to feed them. Then went on what Abby calls an “Easter egg” hunt to find the eggs and was able to keep them. They were the highlight of our trip. We will be returning for sure

Weekend Trip to Beespoke Farms

This place was truly an incredible spot to spend the weekend. Unfortunately we were hit with some spring rain throughout our trip but that didn’t hinder our stay at all. Michael (the host) and CJ (the caretaker) were incredibly hospitable and made our entire group feel welcome! We loved getting to try some fresh duck eggs and feeding the alpacas! The A-Frames with their built-in decks made for perfect protection from the rain. The view of the valley was beautiful (again despite the fog) and I can’t even begin to imagine how beautiful it would be on a completely clear day. I would 100 percent come back here anytime!

This was our second trip to this campsite and it will not be our last. Perfect spot to check out if you enjoy trout fishing or need a large area to spread out with the family. Going to try to go back again this year!

Host was so friendly and the place was a beautiful view and unique experience on the farm! We got a whole farm tour and even some fresh chicken and duck eggs. A-frames and fire pit were so cute and a great way to kick off our trip.

1 night at Beespoke Farms

Beautiful place! Very quiet. We rented both cabins. A lot of animals. We made a tour and were able to interact with alpacas, chickens, sheeps etc. The sunset and sunrise were amazing. Michael and CJ are good hosts and were always attentive to anything we might need. We will definitely go back there this year. Thank you!

We had a great time there. Plenty of free, fallen branches for firewood. Great access to Hibernia park trail. Bathroom was nice and clean and well supplied. Be aware the driveway will be challenging for cars with poor ground clearance.

My husband and I booked these A frames for my one year olds birthday. We had the BEST time. CJ and his daughter River were SO welcoming and sweet. They made us feel right at home! About Tyme Farm is a 26 plus acre privately owned farm used for crops such as corn, soy beans and sunflowers. The property includes a 150+ year old stone farm house, large historic barn on the barn quilt tour in Carroll County, renovated camping cabin for those not into rough camping, fields, streams , woods for hiking, plenty of wild life and lots of quiet. The farm is surrounded by other farms in the agricultural preservation program yet you are only 5 miles from stores, movies, antiques and other aspects of civilization or entertainment if needed. Enjoy watching the deer come out of the woods and meander along the stream and fields at dusk and return in the morning. Electric, water, fire pit and a Port a Pot is available even for rough campers. Pets welcome but must be on a leash or exercise pen or with their owners in some way while here for their safety. There is a large fenced yard for dogs that just have to run if needed. Glamorous camping with a furnished heated/cooled cabin is available for rent by the night for those who do not have camping equipment or do not want to rough it. For those that have been camping before and have all the equipment there is plenty of room for a tent or camper near the buildings or by the stream or woods. For RV owners there is 50amp electric service in the barn. You will need an RV extension cord to access it. I have a 100 ft RV ext. cord but it can be farther than that depending on where you park. Bring one of your own to be sure. It is a farm and not set up like an RV park with numerous outlets.

Gorgeous Water Overlook

The White Squirrel Properties include a cabin, rental pavilion and camp site. The camp site sits at the top of a hill and provides a secluded flat site to pitch your tent or park your van/truck camper/truck top tent. You will have this space to yourself. The view is breathtaking - you have a gorgeous view of the Susquehanna River, numerous sets of mountain ranges, and you are surrounded by beautiful fields. There is a rustic picnic table and a more modern high top table set with an umbrella, for your use. We have also added 4 hammock chairs that you can relax in while enjoying a glass of wine. There is a wooden platform with a small structure on it. You can stand underneath the platform and it can provide some shelter, if needed. Black Locust Hops Farm Brewery

We are a small, commercial hops farm (the largest in MD) and brewery located on 24 acres in Northern Baltimore County, just minutes from the North Central Railway hiking and biking trail and Gunpowder Falls State Park. We have our own, small, private hiking trail that leads down to our wetlands area (and beaver pond). Fairview Farms Airfield

The 66-acre property has been licensed as an airport (PS20) since the 1980s. It is currently an active, private airport. We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer! Note that we are always working to improve our slice of heaven, thus we do have tools, vehicles, and equipment stored around the farm that if not used now will be one day. If your neighbor can hear your music it is too loud. If your host can hear it, you will be asked to turn it down or off all together. -This is a pack it in, pack it out site. This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced. Please respect that :) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANY WASTE IN THE FIRE RING BEFORE CHECKING OUT. -There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. Sunrise, Sunset, Moon rise, Bird watching, all very visible from this site. Car accessible, no walking to campsite required. At all sites, different seasons bring different activities. Spring: Kayaking, fishing and hiking. Summer: hiking, fishing in the pond, cooling off in the swim hole. Note: For the winter months we are closed, we reopen in march. The furthest we are open at any given moment is about six months. We close when hunting season comes in during the fall. Description of camp: This is not a glampsite! There are limited utilities here. No Drinking water, just water for the fire. There is a self serve firewood store, you may also forage dead wood. Here only one group may camp at a time. The campsite is a big level hilltop clearing surrounded by acres of woods. There is stone driveway that leads to the site that gets you back into the woods. The driveway is wide enough for trucks, trailers, vans, etc. Since the site is up high it gets a great breeze which helps on warm days and gets good cell service. The campsite gets great sun and has shaded areas along the sides that make for good tent pitching. We have had people set up hammocks, tents, tarps, or camp in their vehicle. We provide a privy (outhouse), an outdoor showerroom/changing room, picnic tables, and a metal fire pit with grill rack that you can put in the fire pit if you wish to cook/grill over it. The woods are hilly so biking is not recomended. On the property we have 2+ miles of hiking trails. PLEASE feel free to contact us for any questions. Also please look at our pictures for a better idea of what we offer. Nearby Activities: A short drive from here will take you to Gettysburg, York, or Hanover. Codorus park offers great hiking and is next to a lake. There are many excellent restaurants and brewpubs nearby, including the award winning Warehouse Gourmet Bistro and Brewpub. Pricing: We have a weeknight discount for the site which is 29 dollars (Sunday-Thurdsay nights). Friday night and Saturday night we charge 35 dollars.
