Glamping near the water in Pembrokeshire, only a stone's throw from Dale Beach

There are few more desirable glamping destinations than those located by the coast and, as the name suggests, Beachside Glamping Dale ticks that box and then some. Hosted on Speedlands Farm this family-friendly retreat is just a stone's throw away the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which leads out along the craggy coastline and navigates around the deep natural harbour of Milford Haven. As a result, the farm brags wonderful views across the water, which can be enjoyed right from the door of your bell tent.

The Milford Haven Waterway is one of the deepest natural harbours in the world and the largest estuary in Wales, with Beachside Glamping Dale perched on a high spot right near its mouth, looking east to where the water heads inland. From your spot on the working farm, you can walk down to the coast path where you'll be flanked by its waters, with a shingle spit of land bordered by the estuary on one side and a bird-friendly lagoon on the other. Stroll southwards and its just a 15-minute walk down to the quiet Dale beach, its secluded pebbled coast backed by trees and looking out at sailing dinghies peppering the bay.

For those interested in the local wildlife, there are plenty of opportunities to do your best David Attenborough impression here. It's perhaps best highlighted by the nearby West Coast Birdwatching, which provides custom-made birdwatching trips throughout Pembrokeshire where you can spot the puffins and Guillemots on Skomer Island, or the peregrines on the Dale and Marloes Peninsula.

Then it's back to Speedlands Farm, with its spacious six-metre bell tents fully furnished with all linen provided, while you're well catered to in terms of amenities, too, thanks to each tent boasting its own en-suite toilet and shower facilities, along with a private kitchen area. With a fire pit/BBQ and basic cooking tools provided, you'll be able to make your dinner on-site, providing everything you need for an easy glamping trip in this beautiful part of South Wales.

Lovely home from home, great site!
Fabulous site, very welcoming and lovely and clean. Comfy beds and little personal touches. Great area, close to Dale and lots of space for kids to play outside. Best night's sleep had in a tent... Even in torrential rain and gales!

Lovely peaceful mini break
Had a wonderful two nights here and would definitely go back! Great facilities, lovely quiet and peaceful campsite with clean accommodation, toilets and shower. Lovely to wake up to the sound of birds, pheasants, and the sea in the distance, and the bell tent felt really cosy. Nice rural location but close enough to shops and restaurants by car. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed it too!

The campsite was well positioned close to Dale, had well kept tents generously spaced, and the owners had thought of many of the little extras that campers might need, including logs, kindling, a fridge, freezer... And all at a reasonable price. A solid experience.

This glamping site was beyond expectations in terms of facilities, cleanliness and beautiful location. The tipi had really comfortable beds, enough space for a third double bed that we blew up in the middle as well as plug sockets which I wasn’t expecting and all cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery needed. The owners were on site stocking up the barn which had firewood etc to buy as well as marshmallows and 2 fridge/ freezers!!! We even got a complimentary bottle of Prosecco! Being able to enjoy the good qualities of camping like sitting outside by the fire whilst also having added comforts including (cold) drinks was just perfect. The tipis are 5 mins away from a sand/pebble flat water beach and about a 15 minute walk from the small town which had some lovely seafood restaurants and nearest beaches are about a 20min drive. . Already planning our next trip with friends and family :) thank you
