Cathedral Caverns Campground

13 sites · RV, Tent

It’s no church, but this is definitely a praise-worthy place to relax after taking in the sights of Cathedral Caverns.

These campsites are nestled in the woods, which makes them a perfect place to take in the scenery and sift through your haul of treasures from the Gemstone Mine. And if you’re up for a short hike, this is a great spot for backcountry camping. Your wild side will thank you.

Cathedral Caverns is so awesome! It is $18 for a cave tour, and you can't do it without going on the tour-- it was SO worth it! It's so incredible in there. The guide will tell you all about how it was discovered and it's so neat to think about someone just going in a cave and discovering this amazing area all underground. After the cave tour, we walked around the trails and they are nice too. Didn't see many people on them. Make sure to stay if you see a little fence to stay inside it, because it backs up to other people's land. They have a trail map in the gift shop and a sign at the trail head- it's a little easy to get turned around but all the trails meet up with each other so it's not bad! I would definitely recommend it.
