Visitors can check out the nearby Big Springs Nature Trail and Picnic Area for the day. Into water sports? Us too! The lake is stocked with rainbow trout, so try your luck at reeling one in! You can also rent paddleboats and canoes here—do a lap while enjoying the beautiful scenery of rolling hills, and lush forests.

Learn more about this land:Sheridan wildlife area is 3/4 mile north for hiking and wildlife (deer, turkey, bird watching) viewing. coffee bar, brewery, antiques, and groceries within 5 miles.  At the campsite, numerous yard games are available with a campfire in the centrally located pit, weather permitting. Corrals and barn are available for the livestock haulers, kennels are available for dogs. Experience tranquility in this open country setting. Please use the directions I give, NOT GOOGLE. Thanks.
