Weekend Trip to Sandy Creek Resort

We had a great time! I love being outside and setting up a hammock around the fire and be away from everything! My girlfriend needs a little more- so this was PERFECT! Beautiful set up with many extras to enjoy. Felt like we were in a hotel room! But still got to set up my hammock, cook over the fire, and feel like I was out and away from everything! They have incredible outdoor kitchen ready for if you want more than the fire. The hosts were great communicating and making sure we were set up and enjoying everything! Very friendly and welcoming! Felt comfortable the entire time. Looking to book again soon and get goat yoga scheduled:)

1 night at Solomon's Garden

Tent camped by the greenhouse for a night, and were left to our privacy. I want to add that we booked this very last minute, and the host was very responsive, and polite!

Our homestead operates as both a private home and a homestead training ground where folks from urban locations come to learn to live on the land, grow food, develop agricultural skills and design their plans for land stewardship. We are currently *under construction*. Our forest was damaged by the draught and so there are changes underway. Please excuse our appearance as we shift toward becoming a food forest. <3 We take pride in our connection to and reverence for the land and love to share the experience.
