1 night at Farm @ Chickamauga Battlefield

We absolutely loved our stay at the yurt! Even the rainy weather added to the experience—it made everything feel extra peaceful. The wood-burning stove kept us warm and cozy, and waking up to misty fields all around us felt magical. It was quiet, private, and had such a special, intimate vibe. The outdoor bathroom setup is amazing too—way better and closer than what we’ve seen at other spots. This was the perfect way to ease from winter into spring. Huge thanks to Emily and Taylor for creating such a dreamy little escape!

Weekend Trip to Stone Mountain Glamping Site

The glampsite at Kim and Trina’s farm is truly a sanctuary in the middle of Atlanta. Not only is the set up a scenic getaway, but the hospitality that Kim and Trina create is truly unmatched. I will be coming back in the future when I visit Atlanta again. Lois

1 night at NW GA Farm Stay

Terrific site - very friendly host. Tidy, quiet, and inviting. We stayed at the water/electric site with a 35’ class A RV. Easy enough to get into, didn’t need to level out. Clean water, 50amp hookup (no 30 amp, so bring an adapter if needed). Grounds were impeccably clean and tidy. Lots of animals, each in their own penned in area. The hosts invited us to go see them, which was fun for us and our child. Very family friendly spot. 10/10, would stay again.

2 nights at Piney Hills Campground

This place was nothing short of amazing. We booked tent site #3 and upon arrival, the space was clean and ready to go with two beautiful ponies as neighbors! Lisa & staff were extremely helpful and if you are lucky enough, you might even get a visit from Loki, the farm working dog! We were able to visit a number of other farm animals that were ready to see us. Outhouse/bath area was very clean which made this trip feel like a luxury while being nestled in nature. Needless to say, we did not want to leave. Will definitely be back!

6 nights at Cabin and Barn on 20 Peaceful Acres

This was the perfect spot for my son and I. We were looking for a place close to everything (Cloudland Canyon and Lookout Mountain) and this was perfect. The owner has this place set up perfectly. There is a barn area that has a table and sink/prep area (a lot more technically if you don't bring your own stuff), a rustic cabin with electric and a full open air bathroom with an on demand water heater and normal flush toilet (more posh than we usually go for). Also two fire pit areas, plenty of trees to hang hammocks and if your adventurous on the back of the land is the connector trail to The Moonshine Trails. You could also walk to Lulu Lake if open (which has limited open days which we weren't lucky enough). There is a working horse farm next door as explained and entertaining to watch, but they were no disturbance what-so-ever. For those that are thinking about it, there was also no smell. Saw the owner out there leading some groups, but they were to themselves. The barn cats Lucky and Boo were around each day. My son loved hanging out with them. They were very affectionate. We spent a couple days just relaxing and didn't even leave. So very peaceful! Overall I just loved this place and likely will try to make my way back again.

Definitely a little confusing at first but was told they were still recovering from the hurricane. Even if it was confusing, it was perfect. Good views, active fish, going out on the lake/pond. Definitely going to come back if I'm back in the area. Would mark the campsites if it was me. If they were marked it would definitely help others.

1 night at Glam Camp At The Old Dairy

We loved our stay at the Glam Camp! We arrived at night time, but the instructions were clear and had no problem locating our camper. Quaint spot that shares space with two other campers. Restrooms/shower is a very short walk and the entire place felt safe. Check out is a little early, but they allow you to stay on the property after check out, which we did to explore the grounds. It was nice getting lost in the open marsh and the Bonaventure cemetery was also a short walk away! Great place to stay!

Weekend Trip to Piney Hills Campground

Sweet camp spot which suited our needs perfectly after our visit to Pasaquan. Tiny A-frame was clean as were the showers. Quiet and peaceful. Morning coffee in the office was a welcome extra. A little challenging to find at night (it’s dark in the country!) but it made for incredible star-gazing.

Weekend Trip to Stone Mountain Glamping Site

This is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking to glamp right outside of atlanta. It was only a 15 min drive to decatur and 25 to atlanta. The host was very nice and communicative. We had everything we needed and I would recommend!

Lisa and James were welcoming and hospitable. The site is nice with fire places, picnic tables and bbqs. the bathrooms are very clean. We loved the animals!

Weekend Trip to NW GA Farm Stay

Loved camping at this beautiful farm. Hosts were so welcoming. Campsite, Adirondack chairs, and fire pit were great. We purchased meat and 2 types of cheeses to enjoy. Were able to pet some of the sheep and goats. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place! A frame was quaint and had everything we needed, even a wine bottle opener which we forgot! Perfect get away! ❤️

1 night at Farm @ Chickamauga Battlefield

We enjoyed our stay at Taylor’s beautifully decorated yurt! It was comfortable and warm with electricity and pretty hanging lights. Our kids especially enjoyed their time here. We made s’more’s out of the wood burning stove, made a yummy breakfast, rode on the tire swing, enjoyed petting the farm animals and learning about the farm. The Bloody Pond was pretty cool. It is actually red, due to the iron levels. Best part was that their property is right next to the Chickamauga Battlefield Park, where we went family biking the next day. Things to keep in mind is that the yurt is on a slope, but that didn’t bother us. We brought our Coleman high air bed and placed the head towards the top of the slope. Also, their farm is next to a railroad and road, but the train did not pass by at any time during our stay and the road is not busy. We also enjoyed the peace at night while hearing the sounds of nature. All in all, we’d definitely stay again, especially for the easy access to the Chickamauga Battlefield Park!

2 nights at Piney Hills Campground

We enjoyed our two day stop here. The solitude was refreshing. Everyone was super friendly (not overly so). Loki the camp mascot does an amazing job of greeting guests including the 4 legged furry variety. My schnauzer is a bark first kind of pup. It only took a few moments and they were the best of friends. The facilities and sites are clean and well organized. This is a relatively new campground and I look forward to seeing how it grows. Thanks for a wonderful escape.

4 nights at Andy & Ana's Cute Little Farm

Another incredible experience! Last year we visited Andy and Anna’s for a reset and this year more of the same. Last year we wish we had stayed longer and this year we did stay longer yet it still didn’t feel long enough. This is a special place where you can experience nature and all the things you love about camping but without the work. I personally love cooking outside and enjoyed doing that for most every meal. The fire pit is huge, cozy and inviting. The space is so well thought out and even on a rainy day it is bright and airy with plenty to do. I can go on and on but ultimately the care and hospitality that Andy and Anna give to the experience and property is rare which is why visiting their little farm will hopefully be a yearly thing for us (hopefully more)!

Our expansive 120-acre property provides campers with the freedom to choose their camping spots anywhere on the farm. Farm animals include horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, goats, bees, stocked ponds, gardens and much more. We have strategically placed signs throughout the property to help you identify potential neighbors. If you desire the company of ducks, consider setting up camp near our picturesque duck pond. For those who prefer the rustic crowing of roosters to a phone alarm, we have four chicken coops dispersed across the farm. Our horses freely roam the front pastures. The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Please respect farm rules and do not camp in a pasture with cattle and do not enter any gated area without speaking to someone on the farm who knows which fields the cattle is in. Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area, in between the orange and green tiny home, and outside the outdoor shower. Fire rings and chopped wood are ready for you to borrow and return by the outdoor shower area. Our outdoor shower is located by the yurts. If you are interested in a more posh experience, we have yurts and tiny homes for rent. We have a pool that is available to rent privately during your stay. Our farm is a small local market style farm, hosting many TN Fainting Goats (enjoy all the kids in the spring), Sheep and spring lambs, around 40 or so chickens and piggies depending on the season. There is also a dining table and chairs.
