This area includes a bar with rainwater catchment for washing hands/dishes, refrigerator, freezer, electric tea kettle, microwave, solar oven, complimentary coffee/tea station, 2 burner biogas stovetop with cooking equipment&utensils, games, aerial yoga silks, climbing wall, slackline, Iyengar yoga rope wall, trash/recycling, filtered alkaline drinking water and more! Feel free to use our laundry facilities, communal picnic basket, and complimentary condiments, seasonings, sauces, etc found in the door of the fridge. Attached to the lounge is our air conditioned ecobathroom with *hot* shower, bio toilet, and complimentary toiletries if you forget anything. We currently have an armadillo taking up residence at Beakertopia and he comes out every night. He is cute and harmless, but sounds like a grown man walking around if it’s dark and you can’t see him- don’t be alarmed! Please note that our growing community is not "finished" as we have many years worth of projects we intend on using this land to experiment with. With our 2 aircrete domes are under construction, there are lots of tools and materials on site. We do try to limit any loud work being done while campers are here, but we cannot fully clean up the construction site every single day. While many visitors leave with inspiration for their own homes & appreciate the chance to view our building process rather than just the final product, we understand it's not for everyone. Gulf Shores offers many nice, high-end condos+hotels if you're looking for a more luxurious experience. A little slice of camping heaven, 41 acres with 800 feet of water frontage on Styx River. YaYa's is a completely primative or boondocking campground and swim area with porta pottie available. There is hot showers available at truck stop about a mile away and they have a dump station for those in RV. Come enjoy all the natural beauty or we are within an hour of hundreds of things to do for all ages. YaYA lives about 1/2 mile away and has a well available to refill your water. There is plenty of fallen wood to gather for fires or cut wood available for purchase. We have a community area with picnic tables, sun sails, grill, pavilion, and large bonfire. Please note the access road is old gravel and dirt, so if in a low car you'll need to take it slow. If there has been rain call ahead for entry directions as part of road becomes muddy. There is also a shooting range near by so during the day you will hear this some. You will not be disappointed if you love the tranquility of being outdoors.

We also take in tiny homes and nomadic boon dockers as well as vanlifers and work for stay... we are quiet in bed by 7 8 We are so excited to have you share some space with us. we are able to house one full set up for rv which will be aside the home. and many boondockers, : if it rains 1 inch the full hook up sight is not usable till the sand dries always rv owners have a adapter just incase you have to be relocated due to rain... parades begin around here end of jan and go to week before easter. joe cane day in mobile is huge and only 40 mins away. we can hold pets rv or tent between the gates.... this is limited for now.....we have 3 fur kids that range freely day and night, the pavilion provides awesome days and nights rain or shine its park size... We are less then 8 mins to ocean swimming 1 and half hourish to New Orleans 30 to mobile Alabama 1 hourish to Pensacola fl. 15 mins to casinos, 9 mins to downtown ocean springs. 3 mins to 90 for crusin the coast. some weekends we have musicians and energy healings, reiki, tiny homes are welcome, owner is native american can do drum healins and carries much wisdom for sit down word sharing.. sky viewing is good reduced light noise. please note we are in the middle of city which is great for access to anything and everything but when the sun goes down we are quieter. must love and respect dogs... no pets at this time.. we are very sorry please note again if you arrive at night it is dark here. gnat-thurty is between sunset.. sketters are minimual as we do bat boxes and local wildlife to maintain. fishing is not extra but the yearling must be thrown back if u catch the big blue gill u get a bonus reward, we preferr no food fishing but lure fishing we have ax throwing and soon our chickens will arrive and our frisbie gul will be forth coming gator farm is right down the road and sheppard state park is as well where the dump station is located. we wish to think of you as family feel free to think of us as the same thank you for reading and being apart of the :lil cute place: addemdum we have 4 sights of it says it is booked it is not always all sights best to always ask dogs: lets talk more on this: if you bring your own poochy fence which they sell portable dog fences for camping you will be so much more comfortable.. as will your fur babies and ours.. we understand your dog is the best dog and our dogs are the best dogs howeve,r the day comes, n poof there we are.. and due to this day we no longer accept at this time any pet travelers what we find as we travel and for our travelers is portable dog yards light weight easy snap together and they work.... we do a pallet dog yard for some of our rvers with pets and work around schedules this is our fur babies home.. thank you for reading that with an open heart.. side note its has always been my dogs getting bit and they freely roam... hence the crack down here...( update we are no accepting travling pets at this time we are sorry) check in time is 2pm no later then7. anything after 7 will be the standard 20 late entrance fee. after 9 no entry is allowed please and thank you.. we are a home not a camp ground. we offer tons of stuff and give respect for free. we are inclusive

I put him up in his kennel each evening around dusk, then lock him in his shed until morning which keeps him from backing during the night. I have a charcoal and gas grill available on the deck, as well as a smoker. I am a bit "house poor," until I get my shop built and make my own furniture, so bring portable chairs and a table.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent on one of two locations. Each are separated by the house. Fire pits in place. The ground is soft and mostly level. The house is on stilts, so if restrooms are needed, then be prepared to walk a flight of stairs. Lots of birds, wood ducks, and other wildlife. Kayaking is king here. Lots of great fishing on-site and nearby depending on time of year.

A little slice of camping heaven, 41 acres with 800 feet of water frontage on Styx River. YaYa's is a completely primative or boondocking campground and swim area with porta pottie available. There is hot showers available at truck stop about a mile away and they have a dump station for those in RV. Come enjoy all the natural beauty or we are within an hour of hundreds of things to do for all ages. YaYA lives about 1/2 mile away and has a well available to refill your water. There is plenty of fallen wood to gather for fires or cut wood available for purchase. We have a community area with picnic tables, sun sails, grill, pavilion, and large bonfire. Please note the access road is old gravel and dirt, so if in a low car you'll need to take it slow. If there has been rain call ahead for entry directions as part of road becomes muddy. There is also a shooting range near by so during the day you will hear this some. You will not be disappointed if you love the tranquility of being outdoors.

Heart of the Country

Heart of the Country is our home and also your own personal twelve acre state park whenever you stay with us! We are less than 15 minutes from Interstate 10 and from Interstate 65. I offer a half-dozen campsites, all either on a relatively level paved driveway or grass. Power (20 amp and 30 amp) and water is available. We have two 30 amp campsites, which are first come, first served. WIFI is available! (please ask for password). We have a portable toilet for your use. This is a Longleaf Pine sanctuary with lots of nature trails. This is also a hobby farm with livestock (Donkey, two Goats, a Duck and a flock of Chickens). I feed the livestock grain every morning usually between 8 and 9 am, and again hay before dusk. You are always welcome to join me and I'll introduce all of them to you! My dog, Homer, is our very friendly welcoming ambassador who will enthusiastically great you upon your arrival. I put him up in his kennel each evening around dusk, then lock him in his shed until morning which keeps him from backing during the night. We also host an AirBnB, so other guests may be here as well. Texting via the app is our preferred mode of communication. If you call, please leave a message if I can't answer, and I will call you back. We are slowly updating the site photos. Use them only to determine your price, for example: A site with 30 amp power and water is $25 per night. A site with 20 amp power and water is $20 per night. A boondocking site (no power) is $15 per night. All sites have access to a porta-potty and water. Suggested local attraction: Blakeley State Historic Park is four miles away.

Overview

Situated along the Gulf Coast in Alabama, Mobile calls out to campers with its coastal marshes, sandy beaches, and remarkably rich biodiversity. Just east of town by Mobile Bay, Meaher State Park offers epic wetlands. Keep an eye out here for local wildlife like alligators, turtles, and pelicans. Paved RV sites in the state park come with full hookups for up to 50-amp electrical service, plus water and sewer. Other amenities include picnic tables, restrooms, and laundry facilities. Glamping at one of the cabins on the Ducker Bay side provides easy access to the beach and boat ramp. For a more rustic camping experience, boondocking tent sites are available too. Road trip over to Gulf State Park near Gulf Shores for some of the best camping near the water. Tent camping sites with wifi are roomy enough for RVs with pullouts and pop-ups. Then, check out the swimming pool and tennis courts, bike the fully paved Catman Trail, kayak at Lake Shelby, or fish for speckled trout and Spanish mackerel.
