Host was kind! I actually forgot to get gas and she graciously gave me some gas so I had enough to get to station. Rv was clean and well stocked with everything you could need Heater works well, most important thing lol. . Gas fireplace was nice at night. Weekend Trip to Radio Ranch Camp

It was a great upgrade to our usual backcountry camping. I truly appreciate that they implement a sustainable and eci friendly camping experience. Truly impressed with how RR is so blessed with nature around from the waterfalls relaxing sound to the actual hike to the falls and the story behind RR. What a gem. 💖

Awesome little spot! We stayed in the A-frame which was super cozy and comfortable. The cabin has pretty much anything you could need and Ellie and Jack were quick to respond to any questions we had. We didn’t give the cold plunge a try but the hot tub was delightful in the evenings. Would come back again!

This place is really awesome. You can get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and settle into the desert landscapes. It was our first time using Hipcamp and Kyle was a great host! He was very reliable and friendly. The doggos that protect the land are one of the best parts of the land! I’d love to come back again and do the atv tours next time.

Weekend Trip to Cee Cee's Five Acre Chill Spot

Celeste’s place is such a beautiful, calm, and full of cute and lovely spots to shoot some pictures. Celeste is THE host, making us feel so welcomed, and always making sure that we have everything we could possible need. Everything was clean, and delicious food. We would for sure try to come back and stay at Celeste’s place soon.

Weekend Trip to Cross Bull Ranch/CBR

Lisa set us up again for an amazing visit to her place this past weekend. We had warm heaters and clean bathrooms and made full use of the amazing space. The kids had a great adventure with the swing and running through the trails on the hill. What's great about the location is with how easy it is to get the central are in Topanga. On Saturday afternoon we took a field trip to the coffee shops, restaurants and had a great hike at Red Rock Canyon Park thanks to a recommendation from Lisa. We will all be returning back to Lisa's again this summer.

Love my short stay-over at Wild Seeds. I arrived just after dusk and pulled onto the site. It was so tranquil - the evening birds, crickets and other sounds of nature - distant crows 🥰. I slept the best I have in weeks and woke refreshed. I appreciated their off leash policy for pets, my boy Chubbs enjoyed the roaming freedom. We didn’t stay long, but we did walk about before leaving sanding I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely return to take advantage of a longer stay. Thanks! Also… I LOVED the winding roads and scenery leading up to our stay.

28 nights at Wild Seeds Ranch

I had a nice stay there in cozy corner with my 14’ travel trailer. The spot is kind of secluded, but close enough to walk to the bathroom. It’s a very nice property with friendly folks gardening, playing basketball and doing yoga. However, it’s not too crowded and people give you your space. Also, the cost is very reasonable.

Great little cabin, just far enough from town, but close enough for drinks and food if needed. The hot tub is great, we stayed in the A frame cabin outside of their yurt season, so we did not have to share the hot tub with anyone.

Lexi and everyone there were very kind to me. It's far enough from the city to enjoy the mountains, but close enough to drive in for supplies. The environment created at Wild Seeds ranch is great for healing work through community, nature, & exercise . Especially when the creek is flowing and the giant trees are blowing in the wind, it brings a deep sense of peace and belonging to integrate the experience there. We really enjoyed the pull up bars and basketball court to help get the day started before adventures to the Ocean and city.

Weekend Trip to JT High desert Hideout

The Hideout was perfect for my family of 4 this weekend! Janna is lovely and communicated really well. The site has so many great amenities, including many places to build a fire, a pool table, horseshoes, a place to grill, an outdoor shower, and more. The beds in the tent were super comfortable with plenty of blankets. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Joshua Tree.

Sugarloaf Ridge State Park Glamping

We have four lovely Glamping sites at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park and 25 miles of hiking trails, nestled in the glorious chaparral of the Mayacama Mountain Range and Sonoma Hills, deep in the heart of wine country. The cost is $150 per night on weekends (Fri and Sat) and $125 per night on weekdays (Sun-Thurs). There is a 2-night minimum stay required between Memorial Day and Labor Day. In our family-friendly campground, our tents are 16-Foot Canvas and come with a queen-size bed, futon lounge chairs (May be converted to twin beds), rugs, tables, lighting, and complementary firewood the first night. At no additional cost, we can add up to two twin beds to each tent upon request to sleep up to 6 people. 8 people max allowed at the campsite. The glamping sites include a picnic table, fire ring, outdoor seating, and room for additional tents if desired. All sites are easy walking distance to flush toilets and a bathhouse, with large, clean, coin operated hot shower rooms. There is no cell service in the park, but free WiFi is available at the Visitor Center. PLEASE NOTE that Bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets) IS NOT included in a standard rental, but is available as an add-on. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bedding whenever possible. If no bedding is added, we will assume a one-queen setup with mattress covers only. We kindly ask guests to provide at least 48-hour notice if bedding will be required. We will always try to accommodate last-minute requests, but we cannot guarantee this. PETS and SMOKING ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE our glamping tents! This is strictly enforced, and you WILL be charged a $150 cleaning fee for any violation of this policy. Parking: Your reservation includes parking for one vehicle. There is an additional $10 per night per vehicle charge for more than one vehicle, which you can pay for at the Visitor's Center upon check-in. Firebird Ridge presents a fantastic secluded camp station in a beautiful semi-wild setting with huge open sky views over 50 miles of the Klamath River canyon and Siskiyou Crest. Just 10 minutes off the freeway, a variety of simple thoughtfully laid out sites afford comfy car and tent camping or smaller RVs and vans, with ample privacy. Small to medium size (5-15p) groups may combine sites and enjoy some shared space and amenities, please inquire. **04/25: entry road has 1 mile bumpy section awaiting maintenance** At an elevation just under 3000 feet, the Ridge gets lots of sun, with cold nights and hot days in winter and summer respectively. This is a drier climate between May and October, meaning some fire risk and potential smoke impacts in area forests, although the mountainside location generally offers clean fresh air with stunning sunsets and excellent stargazing. The land contains over a mile of scenic trails with rock features, gnarly old "bonsai" oak trees, native plants and wildflowers in a landscape undergoing restoration to healthy diverse fire resistant conditions. Wildlife abounds, mostly the friendly sort however visitors should be mindful to avoid unwelcome encounters, and any small children or pets kept under close watch. Your host can address questions or concerns. Count on fair to good cell service, wifi and power are centrally accessible too. Activity and development on site are minimized to enhance natural habitat and ambience. Guests are advised to minimize disturbance of other occupants and lifeforms. It's fine to have fun and make some intermittent noise but disruptive or damaging behavior will be curtailed. This extends to the neighborhood as well, especially on the road in/out where it's important to keep your speed (dust, noise etc) DOWN in the vicinity of houses. The property is not a park, playground, or big backyard, in fact probably not much like anyplace you've been...prepare for a novel experience! Come as a guest, not a customer, and find yourself at home in the wild. Youth visitors are welcome but must be supervised and receptive to guidelines. This location is not set up (yet) for people with mobility challenges, or people with no prior wilderness experience.
